Our wedding has a rustic, DIY feel, so we are going to go with something like these:

I don’t know if you have a them or feel for your wedding, this may not work. On Martha Stewart Weddings, there is a photo gallery of creative escort cards. Since you have a calligrapher, I think that alone will be lovely!

This was one of the things that I was never willing to put a lot of thought into.  We just wrote guest names on these mini envelopes and inside was card that doubled as directing them to their table and a drink ticket.

I got an old solid wood door from one of my parent’s friends to use for my seating cards. I nailed in some nails, strung some twine and used mini wooden clothespins to hang them up! I had cards with the table numbers inside envelopes with the names on the outside just in case something happened and I could just swap names around instead of making brand new cards. This is the only picture I have of it though. I wish my photographer had gotten a cute picture before everyone took the cards. Oh well!

My idea was stolen from (or inspired by) Mrs. Guinea Pig. Our colors were shades of blue, grey, and purple. The multi-color flowers were for our wedding party members (and because we had an uneven number of leftover petals Smile). I’ve included an overhead view of the entire escort card table, as well as a close-up view of each flower.
