I'll join in!  Here's my ring, and FH picked it out without any feedback from me.  LOVE that it's a blend of the two of us; traditional/classic overall to suit my tastes, with modern/contemporary detailing that lends to his tastes.  My man did GOOD!  :)

We used a small designer in London, http://www.mirridamer.com/rings_ps5_s.php she was so helpful and designed rings to our taste and budget. I wanted something really modern, but something that would suit me still as I got older

My diamonds are not huge but its the setting that really shows them off. The band is rounded and in white gold with a matt finish. The three larger diamonds are 'champagne' diamonds, they change from yellow, to gold to caramel depending on the light and the smaller diamonds are clear.

As a designer myself it was important to support a smaller designer rather than some big corporate company- She also uses all legitimate sources for her stones....Are many of you taking this into consideration?

I just love my ring, I think it's really different from everyone elses!

Thanks KMsull! There definitely are some beautiful rings in this post- If you haven't bought your ring yet I highly recommend going with a smaller designer, you get much better advice and service!
