Luckly I have a very talented sister who made mine for me.
Still planning the rest of the cake though, can you get flowers seperatley as my cake is completley plane white? Or are you getting one decorated for you?

I like those figurines. We're just using flowers and some "floating" dragonflies
My cake topper was made by Princess House. It's lead crysyal and hollow inside, so we're putting an electric tealight inside so it will sparkle!

@ coralray24: Oh my gosh, how cute! I think this might be perfect for my FBIL and his fiancée. He owns every game system ever invented I think and writes reviews of games. How did you find these?
My FI and I are using this Willow Tree cake topper. I have always been a fan of these figurines. I think they are so beautiful! So when I got this as a gift for my birthday I knew it would be absolutely perfect! Now we just have to design a cake that it will look pretty on top of! :)

I'm not sure yet, I think maybe just flowers. I love the willow tree one, though. We definitely looked at those and talked about how we'd love to have one on the cake.
I love these! I couldn't find a cake topper that I liked, so in the end we just didn't have one. The cake looked really "naked" in pictures and I wish I had done something. So, even though it seems like a small decision, good job for making such good ones!

Okay, so I know this will look strange, but we're getting married next October 29, 2010. And I love Halloween. While most of the wedding will be done in fall type decor, I'm planning on sprinkling halloween throughout without telling anyone aside from my FI. The cake topper is one of those areas...here it is:
I'd really like to find something I can use again for my cake topper. I'm thinking something that can be used as an ornament after the big day.

Oh wow! You all have great cake toppers! I love that they are all so unique and personal to the couple. Our cake topper was a fly-fishing bride and groom. My husband is a fly-fishing fanatic and I knew he would love this!

Ours aren't done yet but the person who made a polymer clay figurine of my pug that passed two years ago is doing a bride and groom pug for us! I attached the pic of the clay sculpt of Oliver... he loved his little Superman outfit! (FYI... we have 3 pugs)

K don't laugh.... but it's fish! We're both really into fish and aquariums, like really really into it. At one point earlier this year we had a 90 gallon salt water tank, a 55 gallon fresh water, a 42 gallon fresh water, and a 20 gallon brackish tank all in our little house! We're down to three tanks now :) So I had these fish made on etsy and they're in our wedding colors (black, white, and lime green).

All of these toppers are so cute!
We went the unusual route and are have two squirrels as our cake toppers. They are actually salt and pepper shakers, but I thought it would be nice to be able to use them again.
I love squirrels and FI used to get me stuffed squirrels, so I thought it would fit, plus our wedding is very natural and rustic, with pinecones!

We're using Kif & Amy action figures. FI & I are HUGE Futurama fans and I didn't like any of the "traditional" toppers so I figured why not?! :)

Oooh everyones is so cool. My cake will not have a topper. It is completely covered in flowers ... so that is enough I think.

@MissMolly-My FSIL had that one! It's so cute! She put the bride on the "top tier" cake and the groom on a cupcake just below it. = )
This is mine I think I am going to re-do her hair and add cap sleeves to it. I wanted funny, but not the ones I see used a lot. Now I just have to figure out an awesome cake!
My cousin made ours. Everything on it was personalized from our boots to my grandmother's jewelry and our goofy grins.

I'm not sure how, but FI and I have come to absolutely adore bears. I think it started as an inside joke from Stephen Colbert's show, but it's grown exponentially since then...anyhow, we thought this was adorable and perfect for us. :)

I like looking at everyone's toppers...we had a sandcastle shaped top tier so we didn't have a topper. If we had I would have really liked the Willow Tree one.

I never even considered a cake topper LOL. This is funny. Our cake was simple and had peach and blush colored roses on it that matched my bouquet.
We got UNnakedpeggies made for us :) I can't wait to get them in the post.... I'll post a picture soon... like when I find one!
Where did you find that? We've been looking all over for bear (not Teddy) cake toppers with no luck!! !
This will be ours except it will be solid black.

FH and I finally decided on and purchased our cake topper yesterday (Infinite Love from the Circle of Love collection!) and was wondering what everyone's cake toppers look like and if it was hard for you to decide on one.
