Okay I know this has been done before but I am a new bee and I just wanted to show off my ring! I've been engaged for 5 months but I'm still very excited!

Originally we picked out a much more elaborate band. He ended up chosing something much simpler for me on his own, and as it turns out I love it more than my first choice. Silly me, when I decided to get dermal piercings, I didn't think about the fact that I was putting them on my left wrist right before I was pretty sure an engagement ring was coming. Oops...

I heard opal is really soft for everyday wear though. Do you find it scratches easily? I sure do love opal, its my bf's birthstone. I adore it.

@sdbride2011:that is so cool!! i absolutely LOVE my ring. I saw it in a book forever ago and never saw it in a store to actually get to try it on. Low and behold he surprised me with it! it's beyond perfect and gorgeous! i'm glad to have a ring that is not very common :)
