I picked mine out the second I bought my dress. It has swavarski (spelling?) crystals along the rim. I like it because it matches my blingy neckline. It’s also in champagne to match my dress. I am a fan of cathedral lace rim veils though.

I don’t have a picture of me in my veil because I just ordered it yesterday! I never ever thought I would have a veil, but I’ve been drooling over this one for months and finally decided to just go for it:

I found my veil on Etsy for $40!  Not a great sales photo, lol, but I had faith. And I loved it! It was reminiscent of my mom’s veil when she got married in 1966.  I loved the idea of a bubble veil, but then realized I likes the shoulder-length veil instead.

I poofed it up at the crown a bit, which gave it volume. I even wore it all through the reception!

Just picked mine out Thursday! Cutting it a little close but I instantly fell in love with my veil at DB when I saw it! Wasn’t planning on a blusher originally but FI is insistent 🙂 which is just adorable to me!

I did a light gold cathedral length veil. It had a comb which just was placed in my hair. It matched my dress beautifully being ivory over light gold. It was sheer and did not have any sparkles. I loved it so so much.

ClaudiaKishi:  Beautiful veil! I love the idea of a cap veil, but know I couldnt pull it off!

nicoleylo:  Obviously you know what a HUGE fan I am of your veil! lol. I just love love love that horsehair tulle!

These are the two contenders for me….I just am having a hard time figuring out if I should splurge and get the beautiful flowy veil for $200, espeically since the back of my dress is ornate…..I kinda want the first veil bc I think  I could make it myself!

MsGolightly:  I love it! Very vintage 🙂

bride2bebe:  Thank you! I don’t think I could pull of these more “traditional” veils, honestly. They look great on other people but not me! I’m not specifically going for a Gatsby look but definitely vintage-y. My dress is just plain with a tiered/lace-edged skirt so I wanted something a liiiiitle dramatic.

Not the best pic but here’s mine the day it came. It was an etsy find. I wanted simple and not too long, and I fell in love with the custom satin trim.

I went with a lace trimmed catherdral drop veil and I loved it! My dress was all lace and I just really wanted a super traditional bridal look. Our ceremony was in a church as well, so I felt like the night could hold up to the drama of the veil.

Sorry for all the pictures – I just really, really loved my veil!
