I seen an old one like this, so figured time to start a new one. Anyways, my husband has a sterling silver plain 4mm band. Its scratched to bits & is bending. So for his upgrade he has been trying to decide on a tungsten band for some time now. FINALLY I found one all on my own that reminded me of nascar racing (which my husband LOVES!) I showed it to him & he LOVES it. So here is his silver one & the one he will be upgrading to! :-)

The upgrade ring:
It is a Silver Tungsten Ring. The middle is a matte finish and the outer rims are a high polished silver!
He didnt want anything fancy...so no stones....plus he wanted something that wouldnt show scratches because he wanted to wear it at work!
i should be able to show his off toorrow after he finally picks one out! lol. ive only been on him about it for like 4 months!!

@Mrs.Estep: for your wedding band does it sit flush with your e-ring? or is there some space between it?

@d_mari3: Here it is on my hand (Although when hubby gets his new band I am changing mine.) When we bought my e-ring I couldn't find a wedding band with a curve in it in budget. So I got the plain white gold one. But I FINALLY found one at walmart!
It does set flush together, in this pic the band was a lil bit sideways due to me trying to adjust it while I was snapping the photo. lol

You can google Abalone wedding band & there is alot more. Thye remind me of mystic fire topaz's!
ok yeah your stone sit up higher then mine. I am having trouble with finding a band taht sit flush with my ring. FH says that I should get a new one cus I am having so much trouble but I LOVE MY RING and I DONT WANT A NEW ONE!
I was thinking something like the new one you are getting but i didnt know if it was giong to look right!

@d_mari3: Ohhhhhh, yes! I really do, its a gorgeous ring! I have never seen one like it either. (Which to me is a good thing!) lol
As long as you love it, then go for it!
I found it on ebay. Pretty cheap too....people would never guess how much we paid for my e-ring by the way it looks and the size....when they guess and I tell them nope it actually cost...their jaws drop!

Thanks. I love the way yours and your FH look too! I think its awesome that the upgrade ring remind him of nascar....I gave the FH a promise ring that had the batman symbol on it....it was a black tungsten ring with the bat symbol in silver....he loves it...we even thought of upgrading it to the gold tungsten ring that had the bat symbol in silver too but he wanted something that wouldnt show scratches from him wearing it at work!
We are very happy with what we paid....in all with all three rings(i am going to order that one i posted!) we paid less then $50!\
edit note: I am very happy with my ring and I dont care if he got it from a gumball machine...its the meaning behind it! AND YOU CANT PUT A PRICE ON THAT!
@d_mari3: Thanks! (Actually we are already married, hehe!) :-) That is so cool, the batman ring! I bet he loved it. Yea my husband wheres his to work also. That's why he wanted the tungsten. They are all suppose to be really good for that! :-) That is an amazingggggggg deal! & You are 100% COMPLETELY RIGHT! The love behind the rings are PRICELESS! & I must say all three of those rings are gorgeous & to be getting them for 50 dollars is a steal!
Wow you can I need some sleep...lol...I have been flipping from board to board and now they are all just jumbled together....lol!
We waded the option for tungsten or titanium....but in the end tungsten won out. They are both derable but the titanium is super heavy...he tried one on and after 10 minutes it was hurting his finger!

& My husband has only tried on the tungsten. But I guess that's good we went with it then if the titanium is so heavy!
ohhh I think its the first time I see those hand shots, so pretty. But I do have to admit, I cannot wait until u get ur new band and see some ring porn hihi. Your hubby's new band is beautiful, my FI is a formula 1 fan, that ring would go well with him as well lol. He also wants tungsten and I cannot wait to start looking at rings for him.

Hes seen a couple he really ikes, now we just gotta try some on, and at the same time I get to try mine yay! lol
I havnt bought it yet, but we went shopping for ideas not too long ago. And he really liked the one below. It wasn't my favorite of the bunch but I'm not the one wearing it so as long as he likes it, thats all that matters to me.

This is FI's wedding band. It's a Triton tungsten carbide ring. It has a lifetime warranty against damage, loss, or sizing. FI is a mechanic for a living and is really rough on his hands so it will work nicely for him.
Its hard to see here but it has smooth edges and a hammered middle. He loves it. The inside has "faith" inscribed in it.
We just got ours and love them. Built with the strongest titanium and laced with 4 billion year old meteorite.
