This is Bartram's Garden in Philadelphia. We're having the ceremony and reception there. It's the oldest working botanical garden in the U.S. Their website has crappy pics so I had to gank most of these off of Flickr.

This is our reception venue, The Biltmore in Atlanta. I LOVE IT!! It used to be a hotel, built in 1924 and now a historic landmark. I am so in love and my FI who is definitely a guy and doesn't really get details with decor and planning, was pretty impressed. Our church is Peachtree Christian and goes along with the Biltmore, has the high ceilings and stained glass windows.

I'm having the reception at an old movie theatre, too! These aren't the best pics, but they are the best I could find online. It's the Will Rogers Theatre in Oklahoma, City.

Dmaire- I was just looking at the Glenfoerd Mansion! I think it is awesome! I am making my apt soon to go check it out! If you don't mind me asking how are the prices and food quaility? We have been looking around the Bucks/Mont Country areas and some places are just crazy expensive! I love the idea of having the ceramony outside and photos by the river! LOVE IT! Let me know any details you'd like to share :)

We're getting married lakeside then having the reception a few hundred hards away in an old barn all on the same property. Because we live in NYC and are surrounded by cement & skyscrapers everyday, we really wanted a a quiet place surrounded by nature. We btoh fell in LOVE with this place instantly!!

My wedding and reception are at My Old Kentucky Home State Park. These are not the greatest photos, but there is one of Rotunda where we will be married, some pics of the grounds and one of the outdoor plaza where the reception will be.

Here's mine. The Linen Building which was built in 1910 and was originally the American Laundry Building.We are having our ceremony on the top floor and the reception on the bottom.

@Labor of Love- where is the boathouse? I live in Charleston and am trying to find a venue...I already have several in mind but love looking at more!! Do you mind me asking the price? and how far in advance they book up?

I am not sure which one I'm going with yet..I have three that I am deciding on,though none of them are what I am really looking for, but here in the midwest,it;s difficult to find a "lodgy feel" for my wedding theme.

wow girls... all of these venues are amazing!!! i dont have a venue... my wedding will be at my inlaws house. we are trying to do a budget friendly weddding... i will it love to have a beutifull venue like you guys

Holy crap! that's a gorgeous house! Not to mention, the pro of having it at your in-laws home, you get to save so much more money and can spend that somewhere else now!
Our wedding is at the Oceanview Room on the Naval Sub Base in Point Loma, CA. We are having our ceremony on the lawn and reception on the deck and indoor area.
Ours is Lake Union Cafe in Seattle, WA.
