It's funny that you should post this as I just did a total overhaul on my table numbers.
Here they are....
Here was my inspiration and my actual table numbers...The actual mini-canvas was cleaned up a bit. The picture was the first phase of the painting job.

danadelphia - love the tin cans. i've wanted to use them forever, but i haven't been able to figure out a way to make them more modern (to work w/ the rest of the table decor).

I am in the process of making table names very similar to Miss Cheeseburger's ... only with names of places at Mizzou and silly pictures of our dog dressed up in a tiger costume.
All our tables were named after our pets (and our family member's pets).

A friend of mine was married at the Yale Club here in NY & every table was labeled as a subway line. It was really cool.

My numbers will be names of the places we're been to, I edited them in a picture program. That's the result (I'll print them as photos and frame them)
