We have silver erings, and are planning to add identical weddingbands in gold when we get married, and I wanted some inspiration. My FI isn’t sure yet whether to add a ring och switch to his wedding band, but I love double rings and mixed metals!! 🙂
Help me gather some pics to drool over 😉 and stories if you wish! 🙂 I love to hear the reasonings behind people’s wedding bands etc

This is my ering, we have identical rings.

I don’t have pics of plain bands but here’s a stack I own with mixed rose and white metals 🙂 I also love wearing 2 rings and mixing their metals 🙂

Scintillante: You have a great collection! Everything is so pretty!

This is just as uncommon as I though … 🙂 …or is it? Trying to revive the thread 😉

HopefulCatlover: Well … you’ve already seen mine in your other thread, but I’ll post again in here, just to kind of help this post along a bit. I think stacks with all metal rings are going to be a bit more uncommon, unfortunately. I think what you are planning to do will look lovely, though!
So, even though some are repeat pictures …
White and rose gold. These bands are actually pretty simliar because they are the same shape, although different widths.
Yellow and white gold with rose gold. I didn’t post these initially because I think the bands are very different from each other.
And just for fun (even though it doesn’t fit at all with your thread title >.O) … This is a picture of all the silver wedding bands I collected throughout the years. Up until last year (our 15th anniversary), I only wore a band — no ring with stones. And my original wedding band only recently started fitting me again. So, I ended up getting different silver ones.
This was probably the “stack” I wore the most in the silver bands. Again, they aren’t that similar and they are the same metal type. Sorry. >.O

I got a new ring for my set!!

Yipeebee: That is beautiful!!

This first picture is my “actual” set, although I rarely wear it like this. I can never decide how I feel about the crazy gigantic gaps! The yellow gold band here used to belong to my mom- it broke a million years ago and she got multupiple replacements eventually, and we repaired this one for me to wear 🙂
The second way I wear rings is with the original band plus the rose gold wedding band my husband got me. I can also never decide if these truly go together!
Another combination I wear is with this vintage ruby band, which was a 1 year wedding/six years together anniversary gift.
Finally, I have this super cheap cobalt chrome band that I wear when I’m doing crazy things like rock climbing, lol.
Everyone’s rings are beautiful! Hope this somewhat fits what you asked for OP! I do think multiple identical bands are kinda rare.

My stack. I don’t wear them altogether but like having options to mix and match to keep it fresh. The 1 mm are rose gold, some bands are white gold, most are platinum. Hope that helps, best wishes!
