Mine has a “visable flaw”. Except it’s all in my head. There is one tiny black inclusion that I can see, but my FI, mom, and best friend think I’m crazy.  I love it though, I’ve had to leave my ring at the jewlers a couple times and I can always check real quick to make sure it’s really my stone. lol. At least, in my head I can.

Mine has a visible black line in it.  It was FIs grandmothers ring and when you stare at it straight on there’s a black polka dot in the center.  When you move your hand tilted forward and back you can see a line.

This is (sadly) the only pic of it I have, from when my wedding band came in.

My ring is very flawed but I LOVE it.  I love the fact that it was his grams and that I will always know it’s my stone because of the flaws.

My center stone is 1.2 carats and has a big chunk of carbon in the bottom of it 😀 You can’t tell unless you’re closely inspecting it though.. (I’ve also knocked three diamonds out of the band because I’m a man). ETA: I’m not really a man, just really hard on my ring.

Mine has two teeny tiny little black specks in the center that nobody in the world can see but me.  It’s eye clean, or so they said at the store.  I may be nit picking here, but I don’t think there are such things as “flaws.”  The specks or whatever are part of the stone and give it character and identification.  There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just “decorated.” 🙂

Mine has one small black spot near the side of the diamond & I love the fact that if I was to ever take it somewhere to be cleaned or something I can tell I got MY DIAMOND back! I love my ring just the way it is… Oh & Also it has a “bow” effect. Which is shadow not actually spots. Here she is!

In this picture you can see the “bow” effect which is just a shadow being cast from the way its cut, not actual carbon spots.

And a artsy picture of my ring with my flowers on our balcony lol.

i think that inclusions are the least important detail of an engagement ring. after all, people aren’t perfect and relationships aren’t perfect! i like the idea of an included ring to represent that

Mine does! At first it kind of bothered me but I really like it. I think it adds “character” to my jewel and like a PP said, I can always tell when I get MY ring back…stone too.

Mine is an I1 quality and I can one very small black speck and another slightly grey larger speck with my naked eye, but it really, truly does not and never has bothered me.  It is so sparkly, ideal cut and F color (which makes it colorless) so to everyone who doesn’t spend all day staring at it like me, it looks perfect.

Random, but how did you get the heart in the title?! I’ve never seen that before!
