@jennycv, that's so lovely !
I will post my invitation later, because it's being printed right now.
You can see mine HERE!
@jennycv...LOVE your invites! Gorgeous!
We used "splash" from Olio Style. LOVED IT!!!! So did everyone else. It wasn't engraved fancy, but neither are we. That being said, it felt and looked SOOO high quality, we were so impressed for the price. Would highly recommend.
I will add mine when I get them. You ladies have fabulous invitations.
Great designs girls! Did any of you DIY or have them designed by someone else?
Heres mine - they were partial DIY. I had them printed and cut but I put everything together and had to re-cut alot cause they came crooked ;)
I love looking at all of these for inspiration. Keep them coming!
our invitations are a little booklet with pages. i love love them. i can show photos of the inside if you want, i'll just have to photo them.
Great invitations ladies! I'll be DIY'ing mine this week and will post when done :)
Hey Ladies!
Here is the sample of my invitation from WeddingPaperDivas.com... Obviously not my content.
Gorgeous! Kafi, who designed yours/ what company did you go through?
Nada....did you do that yourself? I would really love the template.....Ive been tryingto toy around with my design and I cant do it!!!
@ MrsK2be, did you DIY your invitations? I like how its more like a book vs. the standard pocketfold!
@theantihot: I would love to see pics of the inside of your invitation, the outside is Pretty!!
@rchel and @monit: Thank you!! I did these myself -- from the design to the assembly. :) I'm actually dabbling in doing invite designs for brides on a budget, if you're interested. Not as a full-time thing of course. check out www.nkm-designs.blogspot.com But if you'd like the template for that one, I can definitely send it to you!! shoot me a PM or email: nada122@gmail.com
Here are my DIY invites!
Man it won't work how do you ladies get your pictures small enough to post?
Bubbly, you just have to edit the picture, just resize the picture so it's small enough to fit!
Here is my invite, I loved them and it was so fun making them! We just had one other smaller insert card with rsvp info and website on it, I don't have a picture.
Mine are getting printed right now, so I'll be sure to post a pic when I get them!
How about I post a picture that you don't need a magnifying glass to see.
Here are my invitations - I wanted something really unconventional but also personal. The Wordle application (http://www.wordle.net) was my inspiration and I found a great local printer/graphic designer to make my vision come true. I really liked the use of the chipboard CD case - somewhat green and definitely unique!
I used words that were personal to us: where we first met, our first date, where we got engaged, our childhood streets, our hometowns, our favorite places, etc
For my map I commissioned Crystal Kluge to do the drawing - I wanted a whimsical memento/keepsake for my wedding papergoods and Crystal was great capturing the same elements as my invite!
They are scheduled to be printed in June - I can't wait!
Kayfi: Yours are beautiful! I'm doing a sunflower theme on mine, so I wish I could do something like that. But I'm DIYing mine, so I think I'll go with something a little simpler. Still, they're lovely!
Thank you all for posting these. I'm getting ready to start on mine, so it's nice to see all the ideas. I realized that I hadn't really even thought about wording, much less design :-P
@chitown-e: i loving your invites! so cool :)
These invites look great. I have a dump question, how do you attach the invitation itself to the color papers underneath? Is it just glue or double sided tapes? I thought that would not look very elegant, maybe I am wrong. I am struggling w/ mine right now, not sure what other ways to attach the two pieces of paper.
@LittleMs.Fun: We used double-sided tape - it definitely worked the best for us!
Rescuing mine from the printer man this afternoon! SO excited to pick them up = I'll have to post pictures tonight!
Wow, you all have some really beautiful and creative invites! I'll attempt to post a photo of mine here. I designed, printed and assembled them myself.
Man, 6 months after my wedding and I still haven't taken decent pictures of my invites. :) Oh well, this will give you an idea!
