Gorgeous job!!!! How many flowers did you use in the pomander?
crebre80 i used 24ish flowers on a 4 inch ball
honeybuzz i just pushed their little stems into the styrofoam but im thinking i may need to glue them somehow because after sitting they start falling out easily
I did these for my sister's wedding. The wedding is over but these are the original mock-ups. We changed the ribbon (didn't use damask on the large vases) and added a monogrammed sticker to the large vases, and ended up using 4 small and one large on the 16 ft tables.
I dont believe you tie them, but rather stick the stems into a styrofoam ball to create your own pomanders.
Looks beautiful! I am considering having something like this for flowers, it is such a cool look. Great job! Did you use real flowers because they def. look real! Love it.
I purchased the carnations from Sams Club. They were a great value, and great quality! I did them in many differing height vases depending on the table. (I don't have the professional pictures yet--(sorry!), but here's a few examples from friend's pictures

Carnations are pretty and they are one of the flowers that hold up the best!!!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
whether it be DIY or from the florist, centerpieces or bouts, bouquets or pomanders, i want to see them all
this is kind of an up date to my first mock up . im not sure exactly how ill do the ribbons on the candles but i think it makes it much less plain and boring.
this is the first one
and here is the new and improved!
(im not sure why the flowers look yellow but they are white)
i know, this is nothing original, ive seen it many times before but i just love it!
and i also need more inspiration and am just curious to see what other bees have done with carnations to make them "wedding ready" and not just some "cheap flower" as some people think they are!
