So pretty, nurseheather! I’d love to see a tutorial. I’ve been thinking of making bouts, but have been a little unsure where to start.

All the DIY-ers have given me some serious inspiration. I was worried about making my wedding reception/ceremony personal and have found such good ideas! Please post all DIY items! They really do help and inspire!

Here’s a quick and dirty mockup of the bridesmaid bouquets. And I threw on a green dress since I didn’t have a navy dress. Oh well. Close enough for the color scheme. ^_^

Plus a close up of one of the roses.

Please forgive the damp ends of my hair.

Oh, and a rough draft of our map to go in the invites. ^_^ With quick and dirty privacy measures, courtesy of MS Paint.

So far all I’ve done is the card box, and it’s not totally finished. But here’s that. I’m currently working on those origami flower balls (I have no idea how to spell the actual name) that Miss Stiletto’s been talking about. I’m doing big ones (hers are like 6 inches across, mine will be at least 2-3 times bigger), and hanging them in the reception area along with those Martha Stewart tissue paper pom-pom things (I’m not huge on them, but my decorator likes them, and it makes a very nice textural contrast with the more structured origami ball things). Also, I’m making the favors, and the programs. And the centerpieces. And the OOT bags. Hmm. I might need to cut back, only a little less than 3 months to go!
