Mine is the Dance by Pronovias. I Love this dress because of all the fun little details and am so excited to wear it on May 30th. You can't tell so much from the pictures, but the tulle actually has little polka dots on it!
@driftslikesmoke: THANK YOU! It is the only dress that I can't stop thinking about. You can't tell from the photo (the model has her hand in the way) but the bodice is completely fitted. It's hard to explain what those feather like details are but the fabric makes it really special. I almost bought a Monique Lhullier at a sample sale - I love this one so much more.
:-)
I love my dress so much! I can't wait to wear it! It is the most gorgeous silk I have ever seen! I bought it in early September and went in January for my first fitting and loved it even more! It's from Ana Hernandez in Boston. One of the pics if of me with her!!!
I procrastinated on buying a dress waiting until I found the one. And I am so glad that I did. I just purchased Sara by Maggie Sottero and couldn't be happier.
The Most Amazing Dress Ever! (for me, atleast!) It is Vineyards Madison Dress....
AVD, that is such a pretty gown! The material looks so sleek and beautiful!
Pinwheels, I've found several dresses that I think would be similar to what you posted, but it really depends on what specifically you love about yours that will determine if any of them would be good substitutes. I'm also not sure what your budget is, so I've grabbed several gowns from various price ranges. Hopefully something in here will strike a chord with you!
In order:
1.) Manuel Mota - Sadur: has the same beautiful neckline and straps with a little bit of bust detailing. No appliques on the skirt, but same trim bodice and a-line skirt.
2.) La Sposa - Florida: Same general shape with square-ish neckline and straps. Lace overlay rather than appliques.
3.) Watters Brides - 4041B: Beautiful appliques, budget friendly, slim bodice with a-line skirt; no straps, but most designers can add something like that if you want it.
4.) Maggie Sottero - Harlowe: Same shape, no straps; lace appliques rather than 3-d floral appliques.
5.) Watters Brides - 4049B: Appliques and fitted bodice; No straps; Column shape rather than a-line. Budget friendly.
6.) Watters Brides - 4064B: Appliques on fitted bodice; No straps; no appliques on skirt; a-line shape; budget friendly
It will only let me upload six, but PM me if you want to see any others I found! :)
Okay, one more. This one isn't as budget, but it's really really beautiful and similar to what you posted, pinwheels!
This one's by Melissa Sweet, and it has those same beautiful appliques on it. It's a little more flowy and doesn't have the straps, but once again the feel is similar. :)
@fizics- I almost stopped breathing when I saw the back of your dress. Gor-or-geous!
@av- I especially love the bottom of your dress.
Don't you all think that we should have more occasions to wear dresses as beautiful as these?
Here's mine! These aren't the greatest shots of it/me ever, but the only that exist thus far. I looove my dress.

It only needs very little alteration: hemming, and I'll probably have the zipper kind of sewn in once I put it on on the big day (note the kind of.. puckering in the shot that shows my "something blue" :P). I love the simplicity, the comfort, the "vintage" appearance, how "me" it is, that gorgeous draping in the back and umm.. everything else?
@ paigee: Thanks! My thoughts exactly - I'm looking into doing my hair in fingerwaves to match! It's made by Cache, but I got it at a consignment shop and have been unable to find it anywhere online.
There are so many AMAZING wedding gowns on here. You girls have great taste. Isn't it amazing that we can all be so different, yet all look so fabulous in whatever dress we choose? :)
I love this post- I keep coming back to see the new additions!
Oh my goodness...this is my favorite thread yet! I just love to see all the beautiful gowns and it is so fun to see how excited each bride is about their dress.
I never thought I was the type of girl that would fall in love with a dress. But in all honesty, the thing I am looking forward to most on my wedding day is wearing my dress (besides the whole marrying my best friend thing).
No pictures of me in the dress, but here it is:
I hope that works!
I know what you mean, Lilbird! As a non-girly girl, I didn't think the dress would be a huge deal, but it's honestly the most beautiful, glamorous thing I'll ever own or wear, and it's really exciting! I can't wait to have a day where I feel my most beautiful. :)
I keep checking this thread for new posts. Everyone has such beautiful dresses, I can't wait to see mine since I never saw it in the right colors before ordering. I'm both excited and nervous because of this.
Unfortunately it is not posted online anywhere. I have searched for hours and hours. But when I went home last night, I found out I can go pick it up. I'm going tomorrow. :-D
Thanks ladies, they're all beautiful!!
Lillindy Yes! Its Reem Acra. I think its from a few years back because they dragged it out after I had tried on a million dresses - I really wanted a low back and no lace!
@driftslikesmoke: it took me a few minutes (or a day) but I love #1 for the neck line and princess feel to it, and #5 for the gorgeous flowers. What I love most about the L'ezu dress: the neckline, the tight bodice (if a dress is not tight through my butt it swallows me like the dress ate me) and the placement of the feathers/flowers. The lace and flowers is a little too much. Somehow that dress achieved uniqueness without being over the top. There's another dress for me! I will see where I can try on #1. LA kind of stinks for reasonable bridal salons.
Thank You!!!!
@ Drifts--thanks! It feels so lucious!
@ Doctor--my dear, those pictures did not do the bootom of the dress justice. Here is my modest-length train in all its silky/lacy glory!
@ Lil--I'm with you--fave board! Everyone has such pretty dresses. It's even better than looking at a bridal magazine!
I am so not surprised about all the gorgeous dresses- what lucky girls we are.
This one is mine. She's not at all what I would have thought I would want (aka strapless, white, etc.) but now I love her. :)

CAROLINA HERRERA
@laurajane: I LOVE your dress. I have a huge crush on Carolina. It's so lovely!!!
Keep this posted - it's so inspiring!
You know, I'm not sure, but this might be the longest non-controversial thread ever! I love all the love and support that we're seeing!
I love my dress, it's being made and I go for my first fitting on Sunday in Knightsbridge, London. It's by Suzanne Neville, a very talented british designer. I can't wait to wear it, I knew it was the one as soon as I put in on!
Like every other bride on this board, I am incredibly in love with my dress. It has a great vintage feel and its so light that I know I'll feel like a butterfly when I walk down the aisle.

By the talented Claire Pettibone.
@labbit- your dress positively glows! No wonder you are in love with it... What a special and unique dress :)
@Janna19: Lucky you, I LOVE Reem dresses! No one seemed to have anything like that when I was looking, especially Reem Acra Superb (maybe because the dress is a little older). Congrats to finding such a beautiful dress!
@laurajane: What a beautiful dress, it's so classically elegant!
@labbit: Love the vintage look of your dress!
I agree with you all, I can't help but keep looking back at this post and it's so great to see everyone's dresses.
I got my dress in SF and I looove her. She is a LaSposa design, had never heard of them until I tried her on. I never would have thought I would be a ruffles girl and I was certain I wanted satin but the movement and sweetness of the dress won me over! Can't wait till she arrives in July!
Oh no, attachment didn't work, here is the link:

@labbit: Gorgeous! It's very reminiscent of the dress my grandmother hand-made for my aunt with the chinese silk and french lace that she bought on her travels. Love it!
@ Labbit: I love that gown! I tried in on when I was shopping for mine, but it just wasn't right for a winter wedding. Beautiful, though!!
Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I'm very excited about my dress.
@driftslikesmoke - You are the first person I know of who tried on the dress as well. What did you end up getting?
Thanks, Labbit! I ended up getting an Anjolique 1010. There are pictures earlier in the thread.
Yours is a really lovely gown. My sister loved that dress, though, and is actually considering it if she and her partner get married any time soon. :) Are you going to play up the vintage glam feeling at your wedding with that dress?
Aw, if there's such a thing as shoe porn, this is dress porn.. :)
My first post :). I'm definitively crazy about my dress. It's a Carolina Herrera from the Fall 2008 line.
I fell in love with Victoriana the first time I saw her! By Maggie Sottero.
Oooh, Eveline! Isn't that the same dress Miss Fondue is going to be wearing? It's so so glamorous! I wish I could find somewhere to try it on, just to see what it would look like on me. So pretty!!!
@Katvida That dress is so unique! How is the pattern on the overlay done? I've never seen anything like it!
