Hiya all!
With my upcoming engagement shoot this weekend I am interested in seeing other bees photos for possible inspiration, ideas etc....and of course to see how stunning you all looked!

Our session in Boise, Idaho was SO fun! Our photographer is Scott Urban and he is amazing and so professional!!

OOh KRG and Vandal yours are both so nice. I love the feel of Vandals and the KRG I love the shots in the grass.

@vandalsammie - I looove the lighting the the lovely genuine smiles you both have! so both very photogenic!
@krgk84 - I ADORE the picture of you in the grass with your man kissing your forehead, truly an amazing picture
@chela429 - those are fantastic as is! I can't believe the proofs are still coming! how much better can they get? where were they taken??

Those are the proofs but low quality. 150 pictures were taken. We are waiting for the actual pictures which will be in high quality. They were taken at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, in Brooklyn between Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges in January (hence the snow). LOL....
We haven't had ours taken yet, but these are giving me lots of ideas!!

I was lucky in that my photographer was willing to travel to our lake (where we got married) for our engagement pics. It is a place very special to us, and where we felt most comfortable in an uncomfortable situation (ie: taking pictures for 3 hours with some guy we didn't know).

Thanks everyone! I forgot to mention that our engagement photos were actually taken by a friend of mine that just happened to have a nice SLR camera! lol...she isn't a photographer or anything...she did them for free as opposed to what our wedding photog was going to charge ($300)
I have a lot of good ones if anyone wants to see more! :)

Chantellamus: Thanks! Actually these were some of the last shots of the day...probably 2 hours into it. It was actually horribly uncomfortable at first, seeing as we both hate taking pics, but after a while it went a lot smoother! I am really glad we did it though, as we got really familiar with our photographer and which made the wedding day much more comfortable. I cannot imagine how awkward it would have been to just have a photographer I had never met show up on the wedding day. They say that's why the engagement shoot is so important! Have fun this weekend!

Everyone's lpictures are so great!! I love the water shots at the lake :) We did our's what seems like forever ago now in November 2008 in downtown Louisville! Wedding is September 21 and we're using RedTree Photography with Josh for the wedding as well. We love him! Our pups are our children so they had to be incorporated ;)

Here are some of ours. My favorite is the one where we're really tiny, we had it printed in black and white, on metallic silver paper. I love it!
We haven't recieved our cd with all the images yet as we just had our engagement shoot a couple weeks ago - but our photographer posted some teaser pics on her blog, as did the second shooter that she brought along with her that day. We're really excited to see the rest!!

Our actual engagement session is scheduled for emeorial weekend in may, but we had a friend shoot a few right after he proposed to use on our std. This is one of my favorites
@ echo - those are lovely! They remind me of one of my girlfriend's engegement photos here in Florida. Her photographer and your photographer have a similar style...which I love. You guys are too cute.

@krgk84 - I can't believe a friend with a camera took those photos! might be a new career path! They're really great (coming from a person who also has a passion for photography) and I must say that color dress on you was perfect! its a devine color on you, everything from your eyes to hair popped! perfect choice!

Here are some of our engagement photos. Smarty's brother is a professional photographer, so these were his Christmas gift to us. We spent an ENTIRE day hitting sites all over San Francisco and shot until there basically wasn't enough light left. Too much fun! :o)

@chantellamus: Thanks! It really was the best gift any bride-to-be could hope for. (At almost 8 hours, I can't imagine how much it's all worth.) Do you have a list of locations for your session yet? It seems like most girls have at least two different outfits. I tried for the casual and slightly nicer look. (If it hadn't been so cold, I would have loved a skirt and cardigan or cute dress!)
