My fiance picked out my non-blingy ring because it resembles a rose to him (and because I said absolutely NO diamonds!)
I think my set counts... they actually are diamonds, but raw and champagne-toned, so "bling" is about the last word that comes to mind...
@blingbling: first time to post pic from the iPhone. I AM a bling girl, but I love this one too. Thinking of getting it for my mon bling days.
I love my ring! DH made it for me and sacrificed his best butcher knife to make it.
Here's a side shot of my non-blingy wedding band. It's solid YG and slopes up then down to line up w/ my e-ring. It's handmade.

This is my original wedding ring from DH1...out of all the rings I have ever owned this one is STILL my favorite! I had to stop wearing it after about a year, he had it engraved for me as a gift to match his and it chafed my finger 
I brought it to several jewelers and there was nothing that could be done without compromising it. It's a 6 mm two-tone 14 kt gold band with engraving on the edges. Too thick for my short little fingers, but I honestly didn't care, I wore it with my engagement ring anyway most of the time...and alone when I did messy things. I'm getting a plain non-diamond band this time around too!
I saw someone post her ring from Turtle Love the other day, they have a decent selection of earthy, non-bling rings. Here are their wedding bands, I think they are gorgeous!

Very interesting and fun thread :) I too, never think of engagement rings without the BLING but it's refreshing to see! It makes me wonder now, when I see a woman with a ring on her ring finger, but it's not "diamonds" or a stone, is she married?! Lol I'm going to have to assume now everytime that they are married or engaged :) so fun. I really do just love ring porn of ALL types lol

I thought this would be fun for the girls that are not really interested in all the bling and the usual wedding rings. I will start. This is one I LOVE but we haven't decided if we will do this, or just a regular white gold band. I love the look of this one because of the tree bark look to it. We like to do a lot of camping/climbing anything outdoors kinda stuff so I think they suit us :) They are from Etsy.
