So, like many brides before me, I'm having a display of old family wedding photos at the wedding reception. I love old photos, and really love old wedding photos. I've loved collecting them so far and adore it when other bees post the occasional vintage snap on here, so thought it might be fun to make a thread just for this! I'll get us started!
My parent's wedding, 1985. Can you tell Princess Diana was her wedding inspiration?!
My great great auntie and uncle's wedding. 1930s. My grandmother who the bride in a photo that is to follow (the retouched- re-coloured 1950s one) is the junior bm on the left.

Fiance's maternal grandparents (Before wedding photos were a smiling occasion!)
Fiance's paternal grandparents. His grandfather has passed and I didn't meet him but his grandmother is literally the nicest woman I've ever met! She was evacuated to Wales from London during the war and became a nurse here. They met on a bus, they chatted and she mentioned she was a nurse. Then one day when at work in the hospital she had a phone call on the ward from him. He had rung every hospital in South Wales looking for her! AAAW!
I bet lots of bees have them but not on the computer. Fiance's folks have great wedding pics I'll have to scan on to the computer- they are so fabulously 70s!
Beautiful photo! The style really resembles that of Princess Dianna. Very lovely.
I love looking at old wedding photos. I only have a photo of my great grandparent's wedding in 1939. They were so in love. I never met my great Grandpa Hale (passed away years before my sisters and I were born), but my grandma Marie was one of the most amazing women I have ever met. She was the glue to our family and always held holiday parties at the house my grandpa Hale built with his own hands. They are the epitome of a love story. He met her while on a camping trip with his family and it was history from there...enjoy!

Oh wow. Is it just me or do the old black and white/painted on photos always make women look like they have perfect skin? How lovely. I love looking at these. Everyone always looks so lovely!!
@An Alaskan Bride: That's so true. Unfotunately (for me lol) camera technology can be TOO good in my opinion these days- every lump, bump, spot and poreon your face on show lol Thank you Photoshop!
My grandfather with my mom before walking her down the aisle, 1969. My grandpa was so handsome!!! 
I think this is my great great aunt's wedding in Germany, in the late 40's. My grandmother is the second lady from the left in the top row, and my grandfather is the tall guy beside her. My dad is in the bottom left corner. This would have been in the midst of wartime Germany, so it's no wonder everyone looks miserable!
What an amazing photo- they both look amazing- especially your Mum!

Here are a couple from my family. No pics of my dad's parents getting married. But here are my mom's. I'm not sure of the year but it was in the 30s.
Here are my parents. They were married in Madrid (that's where my mom is from) in 1969. Check out my dad's hair and sweet velvet suit!
And here is my mom's bridal portrait. She dyed her dress black and chopped it into a mini after the wedding.

Your grandmother looks so happy! Lovely to see in such an old pic- they nomally look really miserable! And adore your parents pics- just so very 60s! Your mum looks amazing and your Dad could have been one of the Beatles!

@Usuki: I'm photo mad anyways (you should see our house- can't possibly fit anymore framed pics around here!) so have loved collecting them! Still have a couple from FI's side to get. Just love looking at the fashions- it would be very boring if fashion never changed!

I'm at work, so I can't upload the one of Mr. Fish's grandparents, but his grandma is seriously GORGEOUS.

Here is our display from our wedding. The photo on the left is actually me and my husband...my mom ran to CVS between the ceremony and reception to print that one out! I was so surprised!
@Leprechaun: Wow what a great display! That is sooooo amazing of your mother to do that for you! I'd have cried! Did your display get a good response by your guests?
well the only one i have on my computer is my parents in 1981 because they had me fix it up in photoshop for them. this is as good as i was able to get it.
