i think is time to show me cake topper. i have seen wonders in cake topper but we went with something very simple and very us. my daughter love rubber duckies so this is in her honor. the best part is only cost $3... :) im apinting the female ducky dress in red so it fit more in our wedding.
what cake topper you choose?

They're actually a pair of salt and pepper shakers :D And they were a total hit at the wedding. Everyone loved them and even the waiters asked me where I got them!

@Ms. Caniche~I love that...so pretty...but I gotta laugh when you say the "traditional" because when I think of traditional I think of the non-descript bride and groom topper! I've noticed though that the monogram has gained popularity really quickly!

Yes... I guess the Bride and Groom topper is the original traditional thing. Maybe because all the weddings that I have gone to lately have had monograms. I absolutely love them and it is going to work so well with my cake! I can't wait to see how everything is going to look.
Our original cake baker fell through 2 weeks before the wedding, but fortunately our caterer did cupcakes and small cakes. My mom and I modeled these birds after Anne Woods' birds, and thought they make a cute touch to the table.

@Sulli: I LOVE your topper! I have had the same Etsian bookmarked for months now because I can't get over how absolutey precious those birds and nests are. Great choice! I'm still not sure what we're using yet but the birds are a top choice.
I'm going to go with a little bit of bling with these wedding cake toppers. I might add a few sparkles to make it shine.

Here's ours....I'm debating on maybe coloring the dress red to go with the whole theme of the wedding but thinking it might be too over the top. What do you think?
We're getting an interspecies couple from the lovely melabo on Etsy. Super quirky.
We are having a peacock themed wedding, so I had these custom made in our colors. (They look huge in the picture, but they're normal sized cake toppers in person).
We haven't purchased one yet, but I think we might be leaning towards this one:

But I'm hesitant because it's $55. FI is a huge Pittsburgh Pens fan, thought he'd love the "penguin" reference :)
