I just got a dress this weekend (and it was on sale!) from gap. I'm planning on wearing a cardigan that I already had on top of it.

Thanks! Its from Nordstroms, its Maggie London. The cardigan is separate and the dress has 1 in wide straps.

I am hoping my Cezanne by DVF will be it(I just found it recently at Saks off Fifth). Mine is in a gorgeous peacock color. Still trying to find a cropped cardigan to go with it.
oh my gosh, a shower dress. I didn't even THINK about that yet! argh, quick, where's my to do list so I can add it?! You ladies all have such great taste. Maybe I can have 4 showers and wear a different dress to each one, hehe

I will probably head to Nordstrom's in search of the perennial "party dress" somewhat like the first dress shown here. The 1950's style with the fitted bodice and full skirt!
