I opened mine on my own because I live about 3 hours away from where the shower was held and I was worried about everything fitting in the car.  If it’s easy to bring them to the shower to open there, I would do that.

I brought mine to my shower because I knew that’s what the gift givers wanted me to do. Most of mine were sent directly to my parents’ house, so it was easy to transport them to the shower.

Bring them to the shower. Open them there if time (be sure the moh knowhow hat you want to do), so that the ladies in attendance can know the real scoop. face it, women have tendencies to be petty and caddy; you don’t want rumors starting about so-and-so being pissed at you and dropping out of the bridal party just because she was out-of-town for business or grandma’s 80thbirthday or whatever…

Dont save them all for the end or do them all first becomes my advice. Let your girls know which onew came in advance and from whom (if you know) and simply mix them in with the other gifts. Have a bm know who sent a gift but isn’t Attendance In case everyone starts looking around for that person.

@lisaor:  I opened, and then sent out the Thank You cards right away, so they knew I received.
