My bridal shower was hosted by 5 ladies: my 2 aunts, my fiances aunt, my fiances mother and my fiances sister. I was planning on sending them all a small gift for hosting the shower, however my future Mother-In-Law and SIL did A LOT of work for the party – they hosted it at their home, and spend hours on food, drinks, desserts, decorations, favors, guest list, etc. The other women were just “hostesses” the day of the party and didn’t work on any of the prep or planning. I want to get my future Mother-In-Law and SIL a larger gift for all of their hard work but I don’t want to offend the others. Thoughts?

clareriznik329: I would just gift them something extra discreetly.

clareriznik329: I sort of had the same issue. There are 4 girls in my bridal party. 3 of them really stepped up and threw me a great bridal shower – I was truly surprised and touched by the amount of thought they put into each detail. The 4th bridesmaid didn’t partake in the planning and was only supposed to bring plates, cups and plastic utensils. She arrived 30 minutes late so the guests were starving.
I got all 4 something small that I gave them at the end of the event. I am planning to take the 3 girls to lunch as an extra thank you.
