I have 2 showers coming up. One of them is being done by Fi's sisters (3 of them) & my MOH. I asked one sister who was planning them so I can get gifts & she said don't buy anything. Well, I will be buying them SOMETHING. I'm figuring about $10 each at the most. What are some good ideas? I'm thinking B&BW?

truffles!!! any sort of specialty candies are a nice treat that no one buys themselves

These gophers are the most amazing candy i've ever had in my life. And i'm not even big on chocolate--that shoudl tell you something =]

Yeah, I agree the B&BW is a good idea. I know some people might think it's cheezy, but I like the idea of sending body wash, a loofah and an umbrella as a Thank you for a shower. I think it's cute.

Candy is good. One of them has Celiacs so I have to be careful what i get.

Thanks! I need to check B&BW to see if they have what I want to get, and if not I'll go for some candy or something.

So, I'm not sure if this would be lame or not, but I'm thinking of getting them bracelets, even though it's $20. FI's two sisters (one sister, one SIL) & foster sister are hosting with the MOH, so I could give the three sisters this, the only thing is there is another FSIL that lives in Canada & we don't see all the time, once every few months. Would it be weird to not give the Canadian one a bracelet even though she doesn't need a gift? Would it be a nice touch to give a new sister?

Personally, as a hostess gift, I would stay away from jewelry and save that type of gift for the wedding. But that's just me :)

Candy, chocolates, wine, flowers and gift cards to stores everyone uses (like Target) are all great hostess gifts. Just include a heartfelt card, and you're good to go.
