Hi -- Not sure what time of year your wedding is but if it's spring/summer or fall I would definitely suggest Marina Bay -- there are a bunch of different places in there to choose from and it's so gorgeous -- especially in the late spring and summer months.

They are all right on the water and I think each restaraunt has a function rooms that could robably hold 60 people. I listed them from most expensive (and nicest) to least expensive (not as nice but still beautiful!)

Try restaurants with small banquet rooms or halls where you could make the food or hire a caterer (price determined by selection). Restaurants usually won't charge you for use of the banquet room with food purchase and churchs and Knights of Columbus type places often rent out their halls for minimal fees (especially to members) and they are big enough. Alternatively, someone's yard (maybe your parents' could be a nice place location for a low cost shower and accomodate more people than indoors, especially in the spring and summer.
rafael's in walpole is really nice for a shower, I just went to a baby shower there. I threw a shower at Siro's in Marina Bay, also very nice, and I think its called the Red Fox Tavern also in quincy was very nice for a shower.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good shower location that isn't too expensive and would hold about 60 people? We're looking probably metrowest, or south shore.
My bridesmaids are generously throwing it for me, but because there are so many people, they are having a hard time finding an affordable place. My mom and fiance will pitch in a bit, but otherwise, there are only 3 bridesmaids and I don't want them spending so much money! And because of the # of invites, we can't have it at anyone's house.
