So who are you ladies, a shower girl or a bath woman?
- I take showers because it takes less time, (I don’t have to wait until the tub fills up)
- I can rinse out my hair and body better, (coming out a soapy tub doesn’t do it for me)
- I can have a “hot pack” on my back while I shave my underarms and legs.

i have dreadlocks so i HAVE to take a shower to wash my hair. the beating of the water in a power shower is the only way to get the soap suds out of my hair!
but i’d take a shower regardless of that. i think they are cleaner, and easier and nice overall.
i have baths every now and again, but for relaxing purposes and if i need to get clean, i have a shower after! but i can’t usually stay in a bath longer than 30 minutes without it annoying the hell out of me.

Both. I have a shower in the morning and a bath at night.

I take showers.
I would like to take baths more because it’s supposed to be relaxing. For some reason I get bored more easily when taking a bath. Lol
I also am very strict on how clean my tub has to be for me to take a bath. I have to get every fluff of fuzz out of the tub before I will fill it up. So, it’s a lot of hassle and work to prep for a bath. Mmm but Lush makes some great bath bombs.

Shower. We have a giant soaking tub in our bathroom which i haven’t ever been in. I am always in too big of a rush to take a bath. I do occasionally bathe my dog in the tub though

@Ashenstar: I can SOOOO relate to your post! I, too, always take showers. I would love to take baths occasionally to relax, but, like you, I am so obsessed with having a perfectly clean tub before I would actually get into it. I also can relate to getting bored and not really knowing how to relax when I’m in there, either.
The house Darling Husband and I purchased together really is beautiful and I love it, but my number one disappointment is that the master bath and the downstairs bath just have showers and no tub. The only tub in our house is in my stepchildren’s bathroom, and, well, I really do not feel inspired to scrub it down before taking a bath. It’s also a very narrrow tub. I do admit to spending time thinking about where/how I could one day renovate to add a large, two-person garden tub to our house, though! 🙂

I shower most days, though I love relaxing in the bath. I save baths for days when I walk home in the rain and I come home frigid and soaked. A hot bath after that is the BEST.

Baths take too long and dont feel clean afterward. So definately a shower for me. Though like other bees have said, I take a bath to relax only. No t to clean.

I used to take baths every day when I lived in an apartment. Free heat and water, plus the water wasn’t consistently hot so it was the only way to stay warm.

I don’t have a bathtub, but I wish I did when I have to shave, or when I have body aches. I’d still shower 90% of the time though- saves water and time (since I usually only take 10 minute showers with a water saving head).

i take a shower everyday and a bath once in a while but only for relaxing

Shower!! At my FI’s house there is no tub. And where I am now, there is no plug for the tub.

Both, but 85% of the time I shower.
I enjoy a nice hot bath to relax sometimes, but I don’t use it necessarily to get clean…it’s more of a relaxation/read a book/drink a glass of wine time. If I’m washing my hair I shower for sure, there’s way too much of it, lol.

Shower! I cant remember ever taking a bath in my life, but I do plan to try it once I have my own home. For now, I’ll stick to showers 🙂
