I want to have my shower at Settler's Ridge in Robinson. I want a do a summer picnic type thing so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
I had mine at the Forest Heights (Frankin West) club house in Butler as my mom's boyfriend rents from them and got to renting the room for a steal.
Istanbul in Lawrenceville has a really neat back room... It's purple with a arabian soiree feel. Handmade in marriage was there last yr although I don't think their pictures show much of the room (https://www.facebook.com/handmadepgh
I'm having mine at Churchill Valley Country Club. Just booked it today!
We are having our wedding shower at Avonworth Community Park in the North Hills. The place looks so beautiful and large.
Mine was at a friends' house. She ordered catered food, made a yummy desert, and we opened gifts. it was simple. My work one was similar but without the food--just the cake. Another friends shower was mainly a 'girls night.' my MOH and BM blind folded me and we went out to dinner, had a few drinks, etc.
Mine is going to be at a resturant near my maid of honor's house in Plum. John Anthonys or something like that. =)
