Wow! Nice job:) It kind of looks like mine that I don't even want to say how much it cost!
Your veil is fantastic- what a great money saver too!! They are so darn expensive! I'm so impressed! :)
Your veil is beautiful. I can only dream of being talented like that. I would NEVER guess it to be DIY. I looked at your dress and bolerp and I love the whole look together.
Thank you MacFaniam24, shunnedbride, Neva, Charbirdie, and stephiemarie :-)
I really appreciate each of your comments.
Nice veils are terribly expensive, and I really wanted a nice one with lace that matched my dress. I got a really good deal on the lace, though, and I know now why the nicer veils with lace are so expensive when they are sewn by hand. It took me several days to sew this. I had to take breaks, so I could get it just right. Lots of tiny stitches.
What a lot of hard work that must have been, hand-sewing lace to tulle! Great work!
Thank you EmeraldR. It was a lot of hard work, but I think it will be worth it. It looks really good with my dress. I do know now though why they cost so much.
Great job girl! That's pretty much the veil I was planning on asking my seamstress grandmother to make for me - only I want a thinner lace trim.
I'm looking at the veil that you made and I can just picture it being a future family heirloom that you pass down to daughters/granddaughters on their wedding days. It's so classic looking and it seems like it was really a labor of love for you! =)
Thank you puzzle. I was thinking a thinner lace trim too at first, but I am such a girly girl that I had to have the wider lace. I am hoping to be able to pass is down, but we will see. It really was a labor of love. I want to look like an angel coming down the aisle to my future husband :-)
So pretty! You are an awesome do-it-yourself-er :o)
I love how sheer it is too!
@Mrs.tobe: Thank you :-)
I used Bridal Illusion and beaded Alencon lace that matches my gown perfectly.

Beekeeper
Just wanted to share a few pictures of the veil that I made. I used bridal tulle and 4 1/2" wide re-Embroidered Alencon lace. I sewed the lace on by hand.
I blanked my face out because I am not wearing makeup, and I do not have my hair done.
