I’m always worried about this! We’re on the seventh floor with apartments above, below, and all around. Luckily (or unluckily most of the time) we have carpeting this year, so it’s not that big of a deal noise-wise. I get more irritated with the fact that R and I have to Shred at ridiculous angles to fit the teeny tiny space in our bedroom.

I do it in my apartment! I haven’t had any complaints yet, but I have ridiculously loud/annoying neighbors, so I think they deserve to have to sit through my jumping around.

One of them (the one next to me) stomps up our stairs every time he comes home (and when I stomps, I mean our entire apartment shakes. It’s ridiculous), and he slams his door so hard that I sometimes think things are going to start falling off the walls.

The guy below me is older and retired and he’s always cooking ridiculously smelly food. And he leaves his door open with a FAN in front of it to blow the air OUT of his apartment. He knows it smells horrible, and he doesn’t want to deal with it so he blows it out and it ends up right outside our door. Seriously, we’re afraid to open the door at all when he’s cooking.

So yeah, they can just deal with it. Smile

I shred in our apt. We have carpet, so it’s not all that bad, plus the guy below us is practically never there, so that helps, too.

i shred in our apartment but our building is a historical landmark (read: old as sh*t ) and our walls/floor are made out of plaster and concrete i swear. I’ve never heard any neighbors ever walking around so i know i’m good. i def don’t hold back on the cardio ๐Ÿ˜€

I have been shredding like a crazy person and stomping  in my apartment since the person beneath us moved out.  Until yesterday when someone new moved in. ๐Ÿ™  So now I will have to be more careful not to make too much noise and I will have much less fun for syre.  The best part of shredding was that I could jump around and look like an idiot and no one was there to judge how stupid or loud I was.  Now I have to go back to being a cautious shredder.  Boo.

I bought these to exercise on and I try to pick times of the day that would least bother my neighbors. If all else fails, talk to your neighbors and pick a time that works for both of you. In the end, it’s an apartment, so tenants need to expect some noise realistically.

Yes I shred in the apartment.  For the most part our building is pretty quiet (we have 20 inch thick walls – they used to be the army barracks at fort ethan allen)… but I am sure me thudding around on the hardwood floor and calling Jlllian names has my neighbors thinking I am nuts ๐Ÿ™‚  That being said, one of my neighbors below us bounces a basketball OFF the bedroom wall a few times a week, I think we are even.

I shred in an apartment too but I do it after work, like around 6 or 7. So that its a time that people are awake and its not too late to still be making noise.

How is this working for you bees? I have been looking into doing something new instead of the gym everyday.

I just ordered this and a couple other of her workouts. I have lost a little bit, but I am so out of shape that I need something more, so since you ladies are having such wonderful results with this and the reveiws are good, I decided to take a chance and go for it. I hope I have the same results as you ๐Ÿ™‚
