My honest opinion is that I think both are a little fussy with your dress. I also think the fabrics of both the shrug and shawl are a bit too casual for your elegant dress. Just my 2 cents
i think both are a little too busy. i would go with a satin bolero, like the ones from bonzie.

Hi Bees :) I'm having a fall wedding and reception outdoors and want to be prepared if it gets a little chilly in the evening during the reception. I'm loving all the cute shrugs, boleros, wraps, and shawls on Etsy, but can't decide what would go best with my dress.
Below is my dress (front and back).
Here's the shrug: http://www.etsy.com/listing/54440116/crocheted-cashmere-blend-shrug-la-palma
And the shawl: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59068362/ready-to-ship-green-flower-mohair
I know the shrug won't really keep me warm but it's really cute and stays in place. I dig the shawl, and it offers a little more coverage, but I'm a little concerned that I'll be fussing with it all night trying to keep it from falling off. Have any of you experienced this issue? Please feel free to vote and offer any suggestions you might have! :)
