Hi everyone. I got married in June and just recieved our photos. I wanted to do a photo album, not too expensive, but not to cheap (price and quality).
Has anyone done a shutterfly hard cover for their wedding album, I ended up getting 2 for 80, one for my in laws one for me and my husband.
Did you like shutterfly? Eventually I want to get a hard covered, thick pages, maybe a layflat one but do I really need to spend money if I got the shutterfly one?

@skapell: I purchased a wedding album from shutterfly. I love it so much! Its a modern turn from the old photo albums ppl just stick pictures in and pull out whenever. Guests come over and love to look at it too. I would go for out but currently groupon has a deal that could save you some $$$. BTW, I got my photo book from shutterfly for free! They always give out deals and promos (always free stuff but you just pay for shipping) every weekend.

I love my shutterfly album… I had gotten an offer for a free one somehow, but upgraded it and only ended up spending about $20 for a 50-page album. They’ve got a great selection of layouts and design tools to choose from, so you can personalize it as little or as much as you want. I don’t think we’ll be getting another album, I think the Shutterfly one is great.

I used AdormaPix. I loved the quality. And it has a flat fold which is great for panoramic shots.

Love my shutterfly album! I got to use ALL the pictures I wanted and it was wayyy cheaper then my photogs package for way less pics. I upgraded mine but also made a duplicate not so upgraded for my mom.. she loves it!

I used MyPublisher and got 3 albums for the price of 1. It is absolutely great quality. We gave one to my parents, my inlaws, and my grandma in europe. Everyone loved it.

We got a free Shutterfly book for our guestbook and it was awesome. I actually got two codes for free books after the wedding, so hopefully I get our pictures back before those expire!

@skapell: I’m not much of an album person, but the Knot gave me a code for a free 12 page hard cover album for doing one of their surveys, so I put one together and have it at home. It’s the only non-digital wedding prints I have other than three that are hung up in our bedroom.
I do really like Shutterfly but OMG it takes a lot of time to put a nice album together, but I have time to kill at work so it was NBD.

I got a Shutterfly album so I could include a lot of pictures from me and my friends and family from the days leading up to the wedding, etc. I LOVE IT. It cost about $200 (I went with all the upgrades – leather, layflat, etc), but I love it *so much more* than the professional one that cost me $1200! Wish I had just skipped the pro album altogether.

I love every shutterfly album I have made. But it does take a long time if you want to make it perfect 9or you can just dump all the pictures in and Shutter fly will arrange them).

@MrsWoW: This is an EXCELLENT thing to know. Thanks for the tidbit. The album from our photog will cost $1150 starting off.

@MrsBaldEagle: I also prefer MyPublisher. I feel like the software is easy to use and the product looks very professional, especially with the fold-flat pages. I had a coupon for them a while back from Living Social or Groupon and I made Mother’s Day albums for my mom and my FI’s mom. They turned out great.

@skapell: I love my layflat shutterfly album for the price ($38 shipped). I got a hardcover 8×11 23 page book. Here are a few pics of it, sorry for the quality (iPhone camera), but hopefully it will give you an idea.

@sn2bmrsmntgmry: did you do layflat or the normal one?
