Neither  “My Publisher” is the best! They even have groupons often.

Neither. Photobook America is my go-to. Much better quality. AdoramaPix is way better than Shutterfly, though (pretty much any photo printer that isn’t Walmart/CVS etc is better than Shutterfly).

@legenwaitforitdary:  I used Shutterfly for my guestbook/engagement photo book and for my bridal shower photo book and they turned out nicely. I used AdoramaPix for my wedding album and I am thrilled with how it looks. It’s looks professionaly done and nobody knows that I made it myself when they see it! Just take your time when putting it together and have a couple people look it over because when my husband looked at one page he noticed one picture wasn’t quite centered. Good luck!

I use shutterfly for everything!! I made a photo guest book, one with pictures from our wedding preparations, one with our guest wedding pictures and just finished our professional pictures book. I am always very happy with them and they are always running deals either through their website or groupon.

I’m a MyPublisher user too, but they just got bought by Shutterfly.  I’ve used Shutterfly before and I was not happy with the way it turned out.  They have this sneaky color-correction thing that made all my pics redder than they should have been.  I’m a graphic designer/web developer and I know my way around this stuff.

I love shutterfly and use them all the time!  My FI and I travel alot, and every big trip we do I make an album for it.  Its really good quality, and i always get compliments!  I’m currently working on our guest book for the wedding on there!  They also send out good coupons…so you can get 40% off your book! 😉

Our Shutterfly Lay-flat Premium Photo book turned out great. I would highly recommend it. The lay-flat ones are usually not 40% off but I was able to wait and wait and wait and got it for 40% off plus free shipping.

@legenwaitforitdary:  I used shutterfly because of the price, and the quality is decent for the price; however, if you’re looking for a high quality keepsake album be prepared to look for a more costly printer.  Shutterfly albums are great for things like small gifts, postcards, magnets, etc., but I wouldn’t consider it a “forever” album.  That being said, I spent about $38 (including shipping, tax, etc) for a 23 page layflat album with a hardcover (8×11) and I’m very happy with it.

I used Mixbook when I created a photobook for my semester abroad. I used them because I liked the template better, and they just happened to be having a sale. I signed up for their newsletters, and now I regularly get 30-50% promo codes. The quality turned out excellent and they are my go-to for photobooks. Shutterfly has become too generic, I find, and sell too many items without doing an amazing job in any specific area. But I have family who swears by them!

There’s no real “best,” I guess. It’s just a matter of opinion!

I used Adorama and it was awesome.  I spent maybe $120 on ours and $100 on each of our parent albums, the quality is beautiful, and the lay-flat pages allow you to get really creative with the layout.  I wasn’t into the idea of a $1000 album, but I wasn’t going to compromise quality to save $20.  I think it’s the perfect middle ground, and people constantly tell me how beautiful it looks.
