I made a Shutterfly photo book for our guest book. Has anyone else used one? What type pen works? What type of pen doesn't work? Feedback please!

I like Zig Memory System pens. They're fine tipped, come in many colors, and are photo safe/ acid free and should not bleed or fade.

However, I used fine tipped Sharpies for my own book, not thinking to use scrapbook pens. They didn't bleed through the page and we'll see how it holds up!

We had photo thank you cards (on glossy paper) and used Sharpie pens. They're so skinny they dry super fast. I didn't have a problem with them smudging.

When I went to Michaels, they told me just about anything would smudge and these turned out the best. We laid out a note on our guest book (a coffee table book, really glossy) saying to please give it a few seconds to dry.
