Mine is quite a bit smaller than what you are considering. It is .90. But it is E color and an SI2. It has a carbon spot, although this is hidden by the prongs.

You are so right to look at the stones in person, because the placement of any inclusions can make all the difference. For myself, I never thought I would consider an SI2 diamond. But I love this stone, and was happily surprised to find out the imperfections made me love it even more.

Mine is an 2.16 diamond solitaire. It’s SI2 eye clean.

Here’s my E SI2. The only inclusion is the line right in the center, but I can usually only see it when I look close. 1.1ct
