My mom has a gorgeous SI2, 2.25 carat diamond. It has the SMALLEST feather ever and you have to search for it. Ask a jeweler to show you several SI2 diamonds and I’m sure you will find one uou love!

You could also consider going up to a SI1 but going down in color. An excellent cut G diamond is still going to be sparkly white

@Nena16:  Ooops. I posted on your other thread. I didn’t realize there were two of them on the same topic, but it seems I should have posted my picture in here, instead. Sorry about that! Anyhow, there is a picture of my stone in there, if you are interested in seeing it.

I have an SI2 (E color), and I love it. Mine has a little carbon spot off to one side, but it is covered by the prongs. An SI2 stone can be gorgeous! It all depends on where the inclusions are located on the stone.

these are not good iphone pics but i’m new to this site so forgive me 🙂 but mine is SI2 and when you look super close you can’t see any issues with it. when we got the certification it said there were a a couple feathers on the sides but you can’t see them unless its under a microscope. i love mine!

I’ll have to share mine when I get a good pic! I have a round ideal cut J SI2. It was the diamond that I fell in love with regardless of its specs.

Just remembered that I have some on my phone… I LOVE my ring characteristics. It’s eye clean and the color makes it moody like me 🙂

@Nena16:  I have an SI2 and can’t see any imperfections. As long as you go with the highest cut, you should be fine 🙂 We were able to save a lot of $$ by going with a lower clarity. My ring sparkles like crazy and I feel like that’s all due to the cut.
