I am sorry that you aren’t feeling well!

Don’t feel guilty your body needs to heal!

Just pick right where you left off as soon as you are better!

Awww bummers. I was going to say that if you have anythign BUT a flu/fever, then you can still work out and sometimes it’s good for you. If you have just a cold working out won’t “pump it through your system” like the old saying…

I”m guessing since you have the flu you haven’t been eating much, so look at it like a trade off =]. And feel better soon! Start slow–coming back from the flu makes your body exctremely fatigued and your lungs crap out earlier

Feel better! I just got over a cold/flu and I know where you’re coming from. After 3 days, all I wanted was to go for a walk, run or just get off the couch (my butt started to hurt from too much couch time Wink). But I concur with the start slow, it’s amazing how quickly your body gets tired. Or, do something less cardio intensive – Pilates really worked for my comeback routine. It doesn’t require huffing and puffing, but does amazing things to tone your body.

Hey, at least you’re sick 🙂 My excuse for skipping the gym ALL WEEK?:

“Well, our photographer might e-mail us our photos while I’m at the gym, so I’ll just skip it and go home.”

Haha. Oh dear. I’m horrible. And nope, no wedding pictures yet.

I say just use the time you have to be sick and get it out of your system. With the flu, it really is advised you don’t work out, especially since it’s contagious! Revel in bad TV for a few more days. You’ll eventually get back into your workout groove. I always do, even after the bad excuses.
