So Bee’s my fat ass has decided enough is enough. I am GOING to eat healthy and I am GOING to workout and I WILL lose weight. Im more determined then ever, I weighed today, the heaviest I have ever weighed… If any Bee’s have come to this conclusion your more then welcome to post and name any tips that have helped you!
I started an account on myfitnesspal.com , I am allowed 1200 calories a day, and if I exercise it increases.
I am doing the yoplait 2 week tune up challenge , its simply and easy food to eat on the go or in my busy schedule.
I have already had my breakfast and had an hour long workout!
Day one weight : 189 pounds
Goal weight: 125-135
I CAN and I WILL do this!

Special K also has some great on the go snacks!
always eat breakfast! and try not to eat late at night, drink lots of water (this one is hard for me) and excersize – these things in itself should really help!

I had that decision three weeks ago – it’s time to get fit!
For me, it’s sensible eating (do I need cookies at 10:00 pm? Nope!) combined with yoga (for calming myself down during this crazy process) and spinning (burn the calories and zap the fat!) and I feel great!

Also a workout buddy?
my husband and i (try) and workout together, not actually work out together but go together, this really helps because if one of us is feeling unmotivated the other one will push to go get it done.

I currently trying to focus hard on eating right since I can not exercise for at least the next month or so.
I always used exercise to help when I “cheated” on my eating, but now I’m in a “no cheat” zone.
This weekend was pretty bad (5 year college reunion in NC), there was lots of beer and fried food. But I started today off right again, so we’ll see how it all goes.

Med700 gave me another idea.
switch up your workouts so you dont get bored – getting on an eliptical everyday is boring!
try yoga or pilates at your local Y – i really noticed a change in my body from pilates. its not too strenuous while doing it but you really feel the effects after!

GOOD LUCK!!! Try to cut back on carbs and you will lose the weight quick!
I cut out carbs from Mon-Friday and ate very little on the weekends and I lose 12 pounds in 2 weeks. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

@Mrs.MedinaJr: wow! Thats awesome, I would do anything to lose 12 pounds quick! My current diet plan is as follws:
Breakfast: yoplait light yogurt , fruit and one serving of a whole grain
Lunch: yoplait light yogurt, fruit aned one serving of a whole grain
Dinner: one lean meat meal with vegetables and or fruit
Snacks: I have a problem where I feel like I need something in my mouth regardless if I am hungry or not…. so I tried this when I was younger and it worked!
Charms blow pops, simply cheap and only 60 calories with a piece of gum in after the sucker is gone so it keeps my mouth occupied for a long time vs munching on everything! I also have werthers original to substitute if I cant have a sucker or if I am tired of suckers. I am going to try this diet for two weeks, its the yoplait 2 week tune up… to see how I go and see where it will take me 🙂

I’m trying to lose 10 lbs and its SO hard!
I’m 120 give or take and would love to get down to 110 or even 105.
I really scared I will get stretch marks on my ‘girls’ losing that much weight though.
And I have a horrible ice cream/cake/candy addiction!

I’m also starting to get frustrated with myself since I’ve officially gained 4 lbs since my wedding (on my small frame that’s actually very noticeable) and my sister this weekend seriously asked if I was pregnant. Now, my sister is unusually good at noticing if people have gained even an ounce of weight, so I know I don’t look too different to the average acquaintence, but still she was serious when she asked.
I don’t work out at all. I’ve probably excersized about 4 times in the past 9 months. Without the stress of my upcoming wedding, it is really hard to avoid gaining weight when just eating anything I want. And also I don’t cut back on portions as much as I used to since I”m not afraid of gaining weight, at least the fear isn’t as scary as it used to be since I don’t have a wedding dress to fit into.
My clothes still all fit, but they definitely don’t have as much room as before. I”m pretty much at the same point you are, at a breaking point where i either stop this now and work towards my goal or accept the fact that I’m getting bigger.

Something snapped in me last week and I decided I am finally going to lose the weight and keep it off!
I worked out 5 days last week and am determined to keep this up!
I am also doing weight watchers. This really helps because you have to write everything down so it puts things into perspective for me.
My last trick is that I have also been drinking 16oz of water before every meal. It makes me feel full faster.

@Mrs.MedinaJr: Why didn’t I think of this? I would hate to cut out carbs completely because then it would feel like complete deprivation, but I could certainly limit it to the weekends!

I’ve been doing weight watchers for the past two weeks and have lost 5.8 lbs! I work out for 30min at leat 5 times a week right now and stay within my points.
I’m not interested in a short term fix so I decided to go for a lifestyle change and it’s working perfectly.
