Woke up today feeling like sh#t. I am drinking my hot tea, and I've got my nose drops handy. You know the worst part of it all, is that I made an appt. to go try on some dresses yesterday for today. My appt. is at 4:30. I hope I make it! I know I will be beat when I get home. =[

Here's hoping all the other sick bees get better soon.

Oh, I hope you feel better.  I was sick and out of work all last week and then Wednesday of this week.

Is the dress appointment going to be a game time decision?

StephinPa - Haha, I've already decided I am going to go. I just hope I'm not dying afterwards, and thanks. I hope I feel better soon too.

Crebre80- Hugs to you too! I hope you feel better also. I'm sure the dresses will make me happy too, but afterwards I might be dead, haha, or beat in other words. Galric? Hmm. I don't exactly know what you mean by garlic? Do I eat it? Breathe it in? Do I eat it by itself or with something? Do I put it in my tea? Haha I am cluless.

This is something I heard once from a natural healer and I swear it works for congestion and general overall colds and 'sick'

Boil a pot of water on the stove. While it's boiling, stir in some honey and a few drops of lemon (if you don't want lemon, no problem, it doesn't take away it's effectiveness just tastes good). Wait until all of the honey binds to the water so you can't see it anymore in the pot (it literally boils into the water). Put an herbal tea bag in a mug and pour the honey lemon water over the tea bag and let it steep to desired color/taste. Sweeten as you like and drink. It's something about the honey binding to the water that makes it work and I think some lemon helps too. As for herbal teas, I like Celestial Seasonings, anything.

    Feel Better!
