I'm in need of hair help! I have a hair test tomorrow, and I know that I want to do some kind of side hair bun, but I'm not sure which one yet. I'd appreciate help!

    This is me:

    OPTION 1:

    OPTION2:

    OPTION 3:

    OPTION 4:

    OPTION 5:

I'm also wearing these flower clips in the side bun...

I think that a side bun would look really good...but I think it needs to be a little lower than option 1 or 2. I think it would look more romantic if it was a little lower. So maybe number 3 but instead of the braids just a nice bun with the flowers in it.

How long is your hair?  That is really important.  You won't be able to do option 1 without a lot of hair or pin in extensions.  I'm actually planning to do something similar to style #1 hopefully with pin in extensions.

Just remember that as beautiful as all of these styles look from that back, none of them have much height so if you don't have a larger bun your hair won't even look professionally done with that beautiful side bun look.  That is my only criticism of the other styles as opposed to #1.

I think options 4 and 5 are your best bets, even though 4 is only kind of a side bun.

ah....im REALLY a fan of 1 and 5....like Mrs Louboutin said, depending on how long your hair is, you might need to get extensions to give the bun a fuller look!

I'm actually torn between 2 and 3.  Option 2 is so cute because of the side swept bangs, its kind of a romantic look.  And 3 is so similar with just a bit more curl.  Any of these options will look so pretty.

I think Number 1 may be a little trendy for my taste. I think number 4 is beautiful, but if you go for 1 I'm sure you'll rock it!

I like option 3 because it's lower on the neck.

I chose 5 for you b/c the style is youthful, but will also look sophisticated.

Word of advice from a side bun gal - remember to jazz up the other side of your head. mine looked a little naked when i was standing at the altar, b/c all of the flowers and bun were on the opposite side that the guests couldn't see! haha. Two flowers in the bun, one flower facing the other way. That should be your mantra. That little dumb detail is one of the only blahs i can think of for me. Examples below. :-)

I really like #1, but if you want a slightly lower updo, then #3.  I guess it depends on what your dress looks like.  I think if it has sleeves, than a higher bun, but if it's strapless, then a lower bun.

    It's between option 4 and 5. But I think I'm leaning more towards 5.

You have a gorgeous face and face shape and could honestly carry off any one of them. My fav and the voted for is option #1!

I love option #5 as well, lower to the neck and add whispy bangs.  Please post your pictures for us from your trial run.  I am also doing a side bun.  I have shoulder length hair so I have bought real hair extensions ($50), a little expensive but I heard worth it.

I think #3 would suit you best - plus a curlier updo tends to hold better than a straighter one in my experience (due to the increased texture)

You have a beautiful hairline and should show it off in whatever style you choose!
