Bees! Since I bought my dress last fall I’ve been planning on wearing my hair up, in sort of a side-swept curls pinned all up between my right ear and the middle of my neck. I have two flowers to pin in, which look great, but my mom pointed out that makes it a little weird for veil placement. So, do I just pin the veil in the center of the back of my head anyway? do I stick it on top of the curls so it’s more on one side? Do I change my hairstyle idea to have it pinned up the center of the back of my head instead of off to one side? I’m so confused.

I would just place it towards tha back where you would normally put a veil! 🙂 I think it will look just fine! or go for a birdcage veil which kind of goes to one side anyways

@abbylyn: I was wondering that too, because I like the sideswept look but don’t know if placing the veil on top of my head will flatten my hair. I found a girl with sideswept hair on stylemepretty, and she had the veil at the bottom of head, right abover her hairline. http://www.stylemepretty.com/australia-weddings/page/6/.
I just don’t know if the veil placement there would work for me, because my veil is fingertip length.
Anyway, I hope the pics help you in some way. I will probably just wear my veil at the crown of my head.

Awesome question and not one I thoughtoff but I’ll have the Sam issue… I think it also depends on how wide the comb is for the veil. If its fairly small then I think the back at the center would be just fine 🙂
