Weddingbee boards

I voted sides - I always eat them by themselves when it's just me.  However, growing up my mom always had a side with chicken pot pie.  She always had rolls or other bread at the table, and if the pot pie or main dish had veggies in it, she did some kind of fruit.  She did sides at every meal though 

Come to think of it, that's probably where my bread and carb obession comes from!

FI and I just had chicken pot pie last night. Growing up, if Mom made chicken pot pie, shepherds pie, beef pot pie, etc, we never ate it with sides. It's a meal in itself!
