Martha might help me out on this one - what do you guys think of this for "Groom's Gimlet?"
i think a cucumber based drink is awesome. i've also had drinks with some chili in it, like a jala-pina margarita and a passionfruit/chili one--i'm just trying to think of something that doesn't have a "girl" color to it. i think absolut makes a black pepper vodka, if that's appealing at all.
Black pepper vodka would be fun since he is from Texas - but Im the Vokda lover :) So I got the vodka covered with my guava-tini!
Those all sound great - hmmm, maybe i should steal your ideas for my bridal shower (brrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa! LOL) Thanks!

I guess my Bee name "Ms. Guava-tini" may have given away my signature wedding drink as the bride; however, Mr. Gamer is having difficulties coming up with his. It will definitely be gin based. He's a Texas boy, so something refreshing like a Gin Cooler would be nice but then again it should be manly ( he's a super guy guy) Anyone have any idea/recipes w/ gin they can throw my way?
Regarding my choice - Guava-tini, I actually grew up with a guava tree in my backyard & that tree brought back a lot of memories. Not to mention it's my favorite fruit (after coconut) Ironic thing is that during Hurricane Andrew, all the big trees fell & didnt do so well; however, the guava tree stood strong. Its apparently one of the strongest wood for a tree to have :) So it's a bit symoblic for me to have a guava-tini to go along with our vintage Miami/Cuban themed wedding.
So what to do about groom-y's drink?
