!!! I'm totally going to buy Mr. KM a Tag watch for our wedding/ getting into his Phd program present!!! Maybe you should tell him that since it's Christmas season, he shouldn't buy anything for himself. That's totally the rule in my family and it seems to work, especially when you've already bought the thing for him.
*hugs* on the being frustrated thing. I'm hoping and praying that boy decides to surprise me down in Atlanta on Christmas Eve. Not with a ring, cause I know that's not til February, but just to spend it with me because I'm having a super hard time spending it away from him. I know he won't, but a girl can dream, right?
I know I'm going to have to warn him about the Tag watch if he ends up with a store credit, but that will ruin my surprise!! I'm keeping my fingers that they just allow him to get his deposit back, so I don't have to worry about ruining the surprise!!
wth?? bunny that's ridiculous!! things like this happen to me alll the time and it's maddening!!! if he doesn't get his deposit back, hopefully there's a subtle way you can steer him away from a watch. grrr!
GOOD NEWS!! They are giving him all but $100 of his deposit back!! Woohoo!! The watch surprise has not been compromised!! :)

So I hate to be THAT girl that writes the post about being disappointed by the lack of a proposal, but I thought it was happening this weekend. Sigh. I'm trying not to be too disappointed because I know it's coming soon, but I had my heart set on Thanksgiving.
As it turns out, the bf went to get his deposit back from the first jewelery we were working, but he's giving my bf a hard time getting his money back!! so frustrating because we were never told about the 30-day refund rule. (by the way, it's been like 35 days...super frustrating) Anyways, all this means that he hasn't been able to pick up my ring from our new jeweler yet because some of his ring money is tied up somewhere else! He's supposed to call the original jeweler back on Monday, and hopefully everything will be straightened out by then. Worse comes to worse, he gets a store credit...to which I teased that new diamond earrings would be a LOVELY Christmas present...haha. BUT, he said if he is forced into a store credit, he'll prob just use it to buy himself a Tag watch. WHICH I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT FOR HIM AS AN ENGAGEMENT GIFT...HE JUST DOESNT KNOW IT YET!! Ugh.
Thanks for listening...I just needed a little vent.
