@tiff-tiff-tiff:  Maybe he’s trying to throw you off the scent? It’s coming soon perhaps and he’s psyching you out.

Either way, you’re not delusional! I’d assume that was a proposal too.

And that is way no matter what anyone guesses I always refuse to think that’s when it’s going to happen. My SO does random sweet stuff and honestly any of those times could have been ” THE TIME”. However if I was to been completely honestly I would have faked sleep and enjoed the time I wold have thought it might be but still trying to keep my rule of when in doubt just…. doubt?? lol. I would hate to be let down and given that mines will be a suprise as my SO keeps reminding me over and over lol sigh it can happen whenever so until i see a box with a ring I will always tell ppl nope it’s not happening. But hugs for you hun I think it’s sooner then you may know but atleast you can enjoy those sweet moments “just because” with no other reason but because he loves ya.

@tiff-tiff-tiff:  Yea I would personally go crazy thinking every sweet thing my guy did was it. Because just like @Laurenplusalex: about 3 ish years ago my SO hinted that this year I would love my anniversary gift. So on Christmas ( anniversary a 4 days before Christmas) I had the two boxes in hand I knew the first box was clothes box the second box was a jewlery box ….it was a watch a Very sparkly GUESS watch so yea I ALWAYS doubt now lol. The box made me think it might happen along with his hint before that it was no where near my mind so yea thats my rule I’ll stick with until I either hear the question or see the ring.

Ha ha ha, I know how you feel, hanging on and thinking “this is it YAY OMG YAY” then disappointed when it doesn’t happen, or you laugh at yourself, he will get you off guard and when you least expect it and i’m sure it will be magical… just hang in there (wow I should listen to my own advice haha)

@tiff-tiff-tiff:  I bet he was thinking about how much he loves you, and that he’s happy to be with you. That could very well mean he’s thinking about marrying you, especially if he’s been mentioning such things to his friends lately.

Who knows if he was thinking of proposing. . . no one will ever know except him! But it sounds good!!

Yeah some PPs had it right with the fact that he’ll probably catch you off guard. Or at least when you haven’t said anything about it in a while.. . a guy I know with whom I was talking to about it a little while ago said that guys need to be able to think it will be a surprise, even if it’s not. So I think the less you bring up being engaged, the better. I’m not sure the same goes for wedding talk, if you are both genuinely interested in the conversation. 🙂

Blaahhh I know, same old same old shut-it-up advice. But you know what’s just happened with my SO and me– after a long while of casual wedding or kids talk, but nothing from me on us getting engaged in a loooong time. So maybe it works??? I’ll know better when the BIG something happens!

@tiff-tiff-tiff:  Lol that sounds like me with the SO: if there’s Pringles about I have to keep the tube hidden until we are ready to eat them otherwise we both scoff them down. He he!

I think he was just innocently reminiscing. But if it helps any you are always in good company here because I’m getting a little antsy myself. All the best!
