Well... I just confirmed it yesterday... I am 5 weeks pregnant with my second child.  My wedding is 9 months away!!

We are going to get married down at the court house next month so we are married when the baby comes... and we are SO happy, we wanted to start trying like day 1 of the honeymoon - the only thing I am mourning is my dress.

The one I bought at the store fit SO perfectly the associate suggested I order it in that size. Now it looks like I will be due 3 weeks before the wedding and there's no chance I will fit in it... 700 dollar dress down the drain.

Ugh.  We can't move the wedding up and we really dont want to push it back even though it would just be a ceremony.  So we are *I think* making the decision to keep the date as such - especially since we do not want to lose our deposits etc.

Breastfeeding at the alter, here I come!

    Congrats!

Maybe you could sell your dress and use the cash for a new one?

    hahaha, congratulations

I thought this was a sad post but I am so glad it is not! You probably know a pregnancy is technically 10 months long, right? Did the doctor give you a probable birth date? I hope you guys don´t have any problems keeping the same wedding day as you want, but I think I would go crazy if I did that!

    I´m so happy for you!

Congrats! You should do a ceremony with your closest somewhere informal- a la Miss Poodle. You could possibly still rock your dress.

Congrats! Now, you get to hold you baby on like, day one! :-)  I know it isn't the most ideal timing but it's wonderful news, so really, Congratulations!

You could always play this card? Still get to wear your dress! I saw a better one, more recent date, but this was the first one I found on google.. haha.

ETA: so, I was going to link the url but didn't like file name... but I wasn't thinking the file name is still listed there... this can totally be taken down... please....

Congrats, and there are very pretty empire waist dresses which I am sure you will look very nice in.  Hope you can recoup the money from the first, at least most of it.

such happy news, even if a suprise!

I agree with the others...can you trade it in for store credit or sell it and use that money for a new dress?

My dress will not be in until April - but I am okay with the whole thing.  I am going to call the store tomorrow to see what that possibility is - might lose some of the cash but not all - or I will go ahead and sell it ebay style and buy a new dress with it - empire waist will be perfect.

To be honest we are floating on air.  My son is 7 now and we wanted a couple more children so we are excited. Thank you so much for the support!!

Can't wait to be big and bloated again lol.

Congrats, that is such happy news!  It's a bummer you won't be able to wear the same dress, but I have a good feeling you'll find something you love just as much if not more!

Congratulations! I so would have traded a wearing my wedding dress for a baby! :p How is your 7 year old taking it? When I was about 7 my mom got pregnant and I couldn't stop repeating "I just can't believe it!" (in an exicited way).

    Congratulations!!!!

I would suggest www.oncewed.com to sell your dress, that is if you decide to.  I sold mine on there really quickly!  (I bought one and changed my mind).

Congrats!  I definitely think you can make up some of the money by selling the dress.  I'd start now.

congrats to you!  I agree that maybe the shop can work with you or you could sell to recoup the cost and put towards a new gown.

September 18th tentatively - that's what they said on the phone - will know better 2/4 when I get my ultrasound - I am looking so forward to that rush again that I remember getting when I had Mr. Anthony's ultrasound.
