We’re having a bit of a non-traditional guestbook, in that we’ve had a two-foot high letter “R” created from wood (R for our last name). We’ve gotten the perfect metallic sharpies for guests to use to write on our letter.
It seems pretty straight forward, but do you think it should have a guestbook table sign? Something simple? If so, what would it say? Please help 🙂
ETA: here’s what I’m talking about–
Ours is in a different stain

I’d put a sign
“Please sign R guestbook”.
Get it?? R instead of our?? I crack myself up.

Maybe have your bridesmaids and groomsmen sign it before the reception- so it’s apparent that people are supposed to sign it. If there are already signatures on it, that might help people understand!

I would definitely put a sign. I thought ours was very obvious but hardly anyone signed it until we had our DJ annouce it. Even then some people didn’t sign it because they didn’t hear the annoucement or weren’t sure where/what it was.
Just a simple Please sign our guestbook would work.
