I am having a mocktail hour between the Ceremony and the Reception. I am calling it this because we won’t have alcohol. I am serving apple cider and homemade leaft shaped sugar cookies. I want to make a sign for the basket that they will be in. What can I put on there?
Also, I need a sign for the basket that will hold crayons and coloring books for the kids.

Why not just a sign that says “Please help yourself to fresh apple cider and homemade sugar cookies” Or two signs that just say “apple cider” and “sugar cookies”
I’m not sure why you need a sign for the crayons and coloring books–I mean, a sign for the cider and the cookies makes sense so that people can see what flavors they are, but crayons and coloring books are pretty much self-explanatory. If you really want a sign you could try something like “leave us a picture” or something.

@JennyW1: They will be in a basket, so it might be easy for the guests to walk right on by them. I want some cute wording for them.

Maybe play up the whole “sugar and spice” aspect with a cute rhyme?
Sugar and Spice- please help yourself to something nice (uhh… not really bringing my A game this morning, sorry)

maybe “sugar and spice and [kids,] draw something nice!”?

@julies1949: Straight to the point, huh? LOL
Thanks so much for all of the suggestions. I just decided to have the hostesses “manning” the areas so that people know what everything is for. Done and done…and no extra work. 🙂
