elderflower liqueur, hmm? sounds yummy – i’ve never had it! that is definitely unique and if i were a guest i would be excited to try it! i wish i could have my favourite beer at my wedding, but the only distributor to my state JUST cut distribution! maybe we’ll make a beer run across the border lol.

We are having beer, wine, and soda, and then his and hers signature drinks since we have such different tastes. His will be a Whiskey and Coke and mine will be a Malibu Bay Breeze.

We are in the process of tasting 14 bottles of wine to figure out which wines we want to offer (this is by far the best part of wedding planning!)

Your cocktail sounds great!

We’ll offer 2 whites, 2 reds, beer and one or two signature cocktails.

the “dandrea” sounds awesome – i’ve even had a drink with similar ingredients before – but it’s a really labor intensive drink to make. you can’t really premake huge batches of that because the champagne will go flat, and making that cocktail one by one takes a lot of time, with muddling the cucumbers and adding little bits of so many different ingredients. maybe look for a slightly less complicated cocktail recipe?

as for beer, i am totally with you on having the good stuff. we just finished off the last our magic hat summer ale last night, yum. but now all the fall seasonal beers are out which i looove.

i also meant to add that that is a really expensive cocktail too….organic cucumber vodka and elderflower liqueur are going to cost you almost as much as a bunch of well vodka, gin, and tequila.

That sounds good!  I love adding Elderflower liqueur, makes things taste fresher!  St. Germain is one of my favorites.
