On our wedding day we will have a signature cocktail…. I would love for it to be something “fall” flavored… pumpkin, apple, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc… but am afraid that those type of drinks will have uncommon ingredients and the hall may say no bc I doubt they are going to get butterscotch schnapps (for example).
Help me!! WHat are you using for yours? My wedding is 7 days away!

I am so sorry I have no tips but I REALLY thought this said “Supernatural Cocktail Ideas” and HAD to know what that was. Mild disappointment there are no god-like drinks in here. But I can google and here are some “Fall Cocktail” suggestions. I don’t drink so no idea if any would be good but its a start!

What about a china white – its actually a layer shot but you could probably searve it over ice… try it
1oz creme de cacao
sprinkle with cinnimon or I just thought you could sprinkle with pumpkin spice 🙂 club house makes it in a little canister
I’ll be thinking of this so if I come up with anything I’ll let you know!

@chasesgirl: Haha, if I find any supernatural ones I”ll let you know!!!
@avonleaR: That sounds yummy! I might try it tomorrow!
Just emailed our MD to see if there is a list of suggestions and/or liquor bc I don’t want to ask for something really out there… but I really DO! 🙂

@Fallicious1012: Frankly, none of that sounds very good. Really few of those special made-up things are any good, I wouldn’t drink them. Just skip it. While this isn’t what you are asking, I’m speaking from the point of view of a guest. A classic drink, or a nice wine, is far better. It’s something that *they* want, no something that a wedding planner and a venue cook up. Don’t ruin good alcohol.

Our place is letting us make a big batch of apple pie drink and they will serve it as our signature drink. Maybe they will let you do the same!
- 1 qt. Everclear
- 1 gal. Apple Juice
- 1 gal. Cider, apple
- 7 sticks Cinnamon Stick
- 800 g (4 Cups) Sugar
Mix apple juice, apple cider, sugar, and cinnamon sticks together. Boil until cinnamon sticks lose flavor. Add Everclear. Refrigerate.

@Julielynn83: I saw that recipe online, also!! Looks delicious!! They are going to do it for us bc I defintely think my mom would kill me if I suggested that we do it! She is more stressed for the wedding than I am!!

@FauxPas2012: I love fall flavors and so do many of my guests… we’re having a pumpkin & cinnamon cream cheese cake! We are having a full open bar all night, however the signature drink is in addition if guests choose to have it.

I just looked at marthas website http://www.marthastewart.com/275138/thanksgiving-cocktail-and-drink-re[email protected]/276949/everything-thanksgiving#/282091
and saw a mulled sangria – maybe this will sparkle with more guests as pp suggests – you could do a fall sangria…. I still like china white’s 🙂

How about this one!!!!
Apple Pie Martini cocktail recipe
- 3 Parts Bison Grass Flavored Vodka
Bison Grass Flavored Vodka
No, it doesn’t taste buffalo – it’s just flavored with the Polish bovine favorite food. The bison grass gives a warm, round taste, although this ingredient can be replaced with regular vodka.
- 4 Parts Apple Juice
Apple Juice, Fresh Pressed
Regular apple juice is strained and clear. Although muddier, fresh squeezed apple juice takes your apple drinks to a new level.
- 2 Parts Cranberry Juice

We did White Russians for our all white winter wedding reception. The bar staff pre poured them and served then on a tray as ppl entered the restaurant. We had a limit we were willing to serve once it ran out, ppl were allowed beer wine champ & cider only.
For fall I’d suggest Angels Kiss cocktail
Anything with Frengelico, Cointreau, Chambord, Drambuie, Scotch Whisky. Anything else could be a bit sweet and tacky and creme or coffee liqueurs are more wintery.
I’m a big fan of signature cocktails 🙂
you can’t really go wrong with a long Island Ice tea tho….. But they are so dangerous!
