I can't vote because I like all those drinks. I do like me a lynchburg lemonade even though I dont like whiskey
I chose vodka lemonade because I don't like whiskey! However some people might not like vodka... could you have two choices?
I think I vote for the vodka lemonaid. I agree with your reasoning behind it. Is there a reason why you wouldn't mix it all up (alcohol included) before the wedding? That way there is nothing the guests have to mix?
Lemonade sounds like the perfect summer drink, and I think the lemonade with vodka will be more universal for guests who may not like whiskey.
I would prefer something without sugar.. We are doing a martini bar and have some sweet and some 'traditional' like with dry with olives and a saketini thrown in so people who don't want a fruity/sweet drink have an option.
If you're planning on mixing the base and then having your guests add the alcohol, why don't you do both the vodka lemonade and lynchburg lemonade, since they have the same base? You would still be purchasing the same amount of alcohol (half of each) and you'd be able to offer two signature cocktails :)

If you need to make it beforehand - the lemonade is the perfect option.
You should check out Mrs Cherry Pies recap posts. She did some homebrews for her rustic wedding that were obviously delicious since they ran out!
I voted for Lynchburg Lemondade. I understand that some people don't like whiskey, but to me vodka and lemonade reminds me of what we used to mix up in college for parties. If you do end up going with the vodka lemonade, you could come up with a cute name for it to make it more special.
How about vodka and white cranberry juice (so you don't have to worry about spillage)? It also eliminates @jacqi concern about "college", although I do love me a vodka lemonade.
I also enjoy vodka lemonade with flavored vodkas (think Three Olives Cherry)
One of my FAVORITE cocktails is a Crum Bubbly--lemonade, gin, and sprite. It's yummy.
Otherwise i vote for the mojito! You could do the lemonade and add strawberries or strawberry syrup, too!!! Flavored lemonades are so damn fancy...blackberry is SO good
Someone just suggested raspberry vodka lemonade!! We could freeze the berries and put them in the drink, how pretty! Strawberry would be another option too. I think I'll change the poll and see if they can compete with regular lemonade.
Didn't want to mix in alcohol before in case some people wanted no EtOH.
We're having couples bartending....guests can sign up for 30min shifts throughout the wedding reception. Gives them something to do and it would be fun :)

I voted for the Raspberry Lemonade just bc I love frozen fruits in drinks! One Christmas party, my mom froze cranberries into small ice cubes and I just loved how it looked!

They all sound *delicious* I think you should chose the one that is closest to you and FI's signature drink. For example at my wedding, our signature cocktail was the "Saratini" after myself. I love martinis and had the bar make a flirtini but use my name. It was a HUGE hit and all the guests found it charming.

So I was looking online last night on stylemepretty (which is amazing btw) and I saw this cute pic of cocktails in mason jars! I'm having an outdoor wedding so it costs about the same to rent glassware vs buying mason jars. Pretty excited about this idea....
Looking for my signature cocktail recipe, remember it will be in mason jars so it must look pretty :) Doing beer and wine and 1 signature cocktail.
Things to consider: mojitos more complicated with ingredients but match my wedding colors, love whiskey lemonade but others might not like whiskey...very rustic though, vodka lemonade will be pretty and i think people will like it!
**Doing DIY couples bar tending so I will prob mass produce the base and have it to just add alcohol to!!
