@subola:  I actually really like Knob Creek… Maybe you could get the bartender to tie up the stems of two cherries as garnishment- then they’d look like bells but wouldn’t alter the taste unless you wanted to actually put them in the drink…

The others sounds really good but I don’t have much of a sweet tooth so that Pinnacle whipped stuff will send me into sugar shock (doubly so if you add in the malibu coconut rum) so I’d pick the jamaican sunrise…

For the unamed one maybe orange creamsicle (it sounds like it would taste similar), or The morning after, or the honeymoon??

Pinnacle whipped cream vodka is one of my favs too!  I think you definitely need to go with FI’s ideas, especially if its one of his only requests. The last 3 sound amazing to me…but BeckySO had a good point that not everyone has a sweet tooth so it might not appeal to everyone.  If you can have more than 2 signature drinks I vote for your FI’s choice, Jamaican SUnset, and then one with the whipped cream vodka!

@subola:  The wedding cake sounds SO good! I might have to try making that.

Knob Creek is Bourbon… and therefore in the “not clear / white” category of alcohol, which naturally means that fewer people will drink it (white is most popular when it comes to drinks … be it Gin, Vodka, Rum, White Wine, etc)

I like the idea tho… because

1- It is something YOUR GROOM has chosen

2- I always like it when a couple has 2 Signature Drinks… one for him (harder) and one for her (softer)

Jamaican Sunrise – sounds good, altho I’d make it with Rum not Tequilla (not everyone like Tequilla)… and Rum is the signature drink of Jamaica.  This would be a great drink if this is where you are Honeymooning… otherwise you could call it something else… any island / tropical name would work

Sorry, don’t know what Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka is (had to look it up) as we don’t have that here in Canada, I don’t think

I would think as others have said it would be uber-sweet… but I’m guessing it might make the “Wedding Cake” taste infact a bit like a traditional fruitcake wedding cake with icing… considering the other ingredients are Coconut Rum, Pineapple Juice, and Grenadine (I might be tempted to play around with these ingredients to get the right taste)

So, the Wedding Cake would be my second choice.

Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka and Cream Soda.. uh NO… that would be waaay too sweet.  Reminds me of something I might have tried back in HS before I got a taste for alcohol.  And all I remember about those sickly sticky sweet combos… was how sick we used to get on them !!

    Hope this helps,

I’m BIG on Whiskey so Wedding Bells sounds good to me but……..

Wedding cake sounds great too.  Since Whisk on the rocks is easy to order I would make the siggy Wedding cake!

Our signature drink is Knob Creek, Coke,  grenadine and cherries.

@subola:  I voted for wedding cake.  I would like white wedding too, but think it would be too sweet for many guests.
