You can probably find websites on line that will help with estimates… but here is what I (a Drinker) would be doing if I came to your Wedding (and what Mr TTR might do as well)

COCKTAIL HOUR

I’d probably start with one of your Signature Drinks (the Spiced Caramel Apple)

Mr TTR would probably have a Beer

If the Cocktail Hour was longer than an hour…

Mr TTR might have a second beer… I’d either have a second Spiced Caramel Apple if I liked the first one.

OR I’d switch to a glass of White Wine (the Pinot Grigio)

DINNER

Both Mr TTR & I would be switching to wine… we’d choose White (Pinot Grigio) or Red (Cab Sauv) depending on what was being served.

AFTER DINNER

Mr TTR would go back to Beer

And if your Cocktail Hour had been short (1 Hour or less) and the Spiced Caramel Apple good… then I might have my second one of them then… especially if it had tasted very “dessert-like”

Otherwise the Party-part of the Evening I’d be drinking more wine, pop, or tea / coffee.

— — —

So personally, if I was in your shoes doing calculations, I’d count on perhaps 1 Signature Drink for half your Attendees.

As for Alocholic ones vs Non-Alcoholic, I think you’ll find that you’ll need about equal amounts.

So 100 Guests / 2 = 50 Servings of Signature Drinks / 2 types = 25 of each type **

** That is unless your Guest List has a lot of older or younger (kids) on it.  In which case, I’m guessing you’d want to up the Non-Alcohol options

UNLESS you also have other offerings available too for the Cocktail Hour… such as Pop, Juice, Water, Tea & Coffee etc.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

Unless you have your Signature Drinks very obviously located, or signed at the Bar… some people are just going to step up and order and miss out on the Signature Options entirely.

The good news tho is if you OVER ORDER / MAKE on the Non-Alcohol side, chances are good that because it doesn’t include alcohol you’ll be able to take it home with you (as you’ve already paid for it… something you’ll want to double-check with the venue)

Hope this helps (somewhat),

@kaykayy:  wow first time i saw a ‘signature drink’ recipe that actually looks good!!!!

if it were me i think i’d want enough non alcohlic to equal maybe 100-125 drinks, considering kids might just drink that the whole time, i’d want to be safe.

for the signature drink, if it were me i’d look at my guest list and see who might be drinking it. for my own guest list i would prbly need more than 1 per adult person. hahah. for an average list i might think about having 1 per person, thinking that some will have none and some will have a couple. i want would at least that much, but others may have much better insight who have done it before!!!
